Phoenix:

I stood in the kitchen, cooking dinner as I waited for Phoenix to come home from work. A few minutes later, the front door opened and shut. Phoenix stomped into the kitchen, looking stressed. I spoke, "Are you alright?" He looked at me, "I don't want to talk about it (Y/n)." I sighed and turned back towards the stove. I heard his footsteps stop behind me. I jumped when his hand touched my shoulder.

"P-Please don't hit me..." Phoenix gently turned me around. His thumb wiped away a few tears from my cheek. He spoke, "I would never hit you. Not ever. Did your last boyfriend hit you...?" I nodded slowly. He frowned, "He's such a lowlife! If you see him in public, tell me." I nodded, "Ok. I love you." He kissed my head.

"I love you too."

Edgeworth:

I sat in the living room, playing on my phone. Miles had went outside to check the mail. The front door opened and shut, leading me to believe that he had come back inside. Miles walked in, holding an envelope in his hand, "There was no mail, but I got this from a friend of yours a few days ago. I think (name) was his name. It's an invite to a reunion type party." I tensed a little.

"Just throw it out. I don't want to go." He rose a brow, "Why? You always love getting invited to events." I frowned, "I do but just not to (name)'s parties. Him and I..." Miles looked at me, "You and him, what?" I bit my lip, "We were together before I met you, but it was years ago. That's why I'm not...you know..." He nodded, "A virgin. I know. But what's that got to do with this?" I brought my legs to my chest before I spoke.

"I...I wasn't willing..." He looked shocked, "He...He raped you?" I nodded silently. He clenched his jaw and turned away from me, "I shook his hand. I shook that dirty bastard's hand! I'm going to kill him!" I stood up and grabbed his arm, "Don't. Just leave it. It was years ago. I'm ok now." He turned and kissed me softly, "As long as I'm around, he can't hurt you. But he should know this isn't over."

Klavier:

I paced around the bedroom in my nice dress and make up. Klavier wanted to take me out on a date but I didn't agree with the restaurant choice. I didn't tell him and it made me nervous. I opened the bedroom door and walked to the living room. Klavier sat on the couch, doing something on his phone. I cleared my throat, "I'm ready to go." He looked at me, "You look beautiful, fraulein." As we walked towards the front door, I spoke up, "Do you think we can go to a different restaurant?"

He looked at me, "Why? What's wrong?" I rubbed my arm, "I just don't want to go there." I looked down. He gently grabbed my shoulders, "You love to go out. What's wrong?" I swallowed the lump in my throat, "I...I..." He looked at me, waiting for an answer. I looked away, "My ex...they beat me behind that restaurant. I almost died."

He moved us back to the sofa and sat me down. He held me gently, "I'm so, so sorry. We can just stay home if you don't want to go." I nodded, "I'm going to go change." I changed into my pajamas and headed back to the living room. Klavier sat on the couch, popcorn on the table in front of him. I sat on the couch and snuggled into his side. He pulled me close, "As long as you have me, they'll never hurt you."

Apollo:

I walked through the park with Apollo. We held hands as we walked, enjoying each other's company. I let go of his hand and giggled as I ran through the grass. I could hear Apollo laughing behind me as he chased after me. Suddenly, I bumped into someone. I paused and looked at the person, "Sorry about tha-!" I tensed. Apollo stopped behind me and spoke.

"(Y/n), are you ok?" I shook my head, only mumbling out one work, "E-Ex..." Apollo's jaw clenched and he pulled me behind him. My ex spoke, "It's been a long time (Y/n). And you're still the clumsiest bitch on the planet." I didn't speak. Apollo frowned, "Don't talk to her like that." My ex continued, "Are you talking to me? (Y/n) used to be like that until I beat it out of her."

Then, to my surprise, Apollo snapped. He jumped on my ex, the two of them falling to the ground. Apollo punched and kicked them, flecks of blood on the concrete. I grabbed Apollo's arm, "Let's just go home. Come on." Apollo stood up and nodded. He gently pulled me into his side, intertwining our fingers. We walked out of the park in silence. After a few minutes, Apollo sighed and spoke.

"I'm sorry if I scared you. I just...I couldn't stand to hear him say that about you. And...why didn't you tell me?" I bit my lip, "I didn't want you to leave. Every person I dated left me after I told them. After all, who wants to fix a broken machine?" Apollo shook his head, "I'm not leaving. You are still you. And if you think your ex broke you, you're wrong. You're wrong because you kept going. You kept moving on and found the right person. You didn't let them make you miserable forever."

I smiled, "I guess so." Apollo smiled back, "I know so. And that's because I love you."
