6 Dancing Princesses Pt. 6

I followed the staircase downward, hearing my sisters following behind me. The staircase led to a golden gazebo. A boat big enough for all of us sat waiting in the front. Mia spoke, "Pinch me. I'm dreaming." Dahlia nodded, "Then I'm having the same dream." Maya pointed across the water to another piece of land, "What do you think-" Pearls cut her off, "That is?" I ushered everyone to the boat.

"Let's find out!"

The boat took us to the piece of land which happened to be a golden dancing pavilion. Dahlia spoke up, "The trees are gold and silver!" Iris nodded, "It's just like in the story!" The boat came to a stop at the pavilion entrance and Dahlia smiled, "Amazing. Look at all the flowers!" We all got out of the boat and looked at the pavilion in awe. Maya gaped, "Wow!" Iris nodded, "Look!" Pearls smiled, "Oh! It's so pretty!"

I sighed, " It's just like Mother's Dance Pavilion! Oh, I wish we had some music!" Then, as if by magic, some instruments appeared. I turned to Pearls, "Did you see that? Come on, Pearls, dance with me!

(Just imagine 6 instead of 12!)

In the middle of our dance, Pearls fell, "Woah!" She sighed, "Something like this always happens to me." She scraped her knee. I carefully lead her to one of the fountains and dipped my handkerchief into the water, "I thought you were dancing beautifully. Come on, let's wash it off." I gently cleaned the scrape. The skin shimmered and then, the scrape was gone. Pearls looked at me, "How did it?" I shook my head, "I don't know." Pearls smiled, "I could use this all the time."

After a while, Maya and Pearls fell asleep, leaving Iris, Dahlia, Mia, and I to dance. After a while, we stopped. I looked at my shoe, "Wow! I actually wore out my shoes!" Dahlia looked at the bottom of her shoe, "Me too!" Mia shook her head, "It's a sign, you know." I tilted my head, "Of what?" She looked at me, "That we've danced enough for one night. We better go home before Franziska finds out we're gone." I sighed, "Oh, I hate to leave. I could dance forever and ever and ever!" After that, we headed back.

Time Skip...

I tucked Maya and Pearls in, "Did you like your birthday after all?" Maya nodded, "Yes." Pearls smiled, "Thanks, (Y/n)." I slipped into bed, "Good night, girls."

Another timeskip...next morning...

We all jumped in alarm as Franziska opened the dining room doors loudly, "Good morning, ladies." We all tiredly replied back, "Good morning." She frowned, "Wide awake I see?" I sighed, "We're fine, thank you." Just then, Maya face planted into her breakfast. Franziska muttered, "Someone was up way past their bedtime." She turned to Gumshoe.

"Scruffy, wake them up."

We all jumped when he banged a chair on the floor. Franziska smiled, "That's better. So, what exactly were you doing last night?" Before we could answer, a butler came in, "A visitor for the duchess." Franziska looked at the butler, "Yes?" The butler spoke, "A Mr. Butz is here." She nodded, "Oh! Oh. Oh, yes. Yes, I was expecting him."

She turned to us, "I want answers when I return." Then, she left. I muttered to myself, "She's in a hurry." The butler turned to us, "And the king requests his daughters visit him in his quarters." We all smiled and stood as we murmured excitedly to each other.

It had been a while since we had seen papa and we weren't going to let it go to waste.
