A Mother's Heartstrings (Klavier x Reader)

A/N: In this one, the reader and Klavier have just had their first child together. Klavier's career has also skyrocketed. Let's see what happens.

Your Pov:

I sighed in relief as I walked out of the grocery store. I had just finished grocery shopping and I was really tired. I had just had my first child. She was a beautiful little girl. She had her father's blue eyes and my (h/c) hair. We hadn't planned for her, but I wouldn't give her up for anything. Klavier decided to watch her at home so that I could shop in peace.

I put all the groceries in the car and started driving home. Something felt wrong to me. Before I left, Klavier was acting strange, nervous almost, but I passed it off as him being worried about being left alone with the baby. Once I got home, I noticed another car parked in front of the house. I grabbed the groceries and took them inside to the kitchen. When I got into the kitchen, I looked into the living room to see Klavier speaking to a man I didn't recognize. The man was sharply dressed in a dark button down shirt, black dress pants, and dress shoes. I put the groceries down.

I spoke, "Klavier, who is this?" Klavier looked at me. He was holding (d/n). He spoke, "(Y/n), you're back already? That was quick." I tilted my head, "What is going on and who is he?" Klavier sighed, "He's with CPS, fraulein." My eyes widened, "Why is he here?" Klavier looked away, "He's here for (D/n)." I walked into the living room, "What?" Klavier looked up at me, "I wanted to put (D/n) up for adoption. I've already signed my portion of the papers, but they also need your signature." I gasped.

"What is wrong with you?! She is our baby! Our flesh and blood! I love her!" Klavier sat on the sofa, "Fraulein, my career has skyrocketed, but (D/n) is holding me back. Gavineers fans have been leaving. My bosses at the prosecutor's office have noticed my tiredness during court and threatened to fire me." I scoffed angrily, "I don't care if you think she is holding you back. And you definitely aren't tired from taking care of her because I'm the only one who takes care of her."

The CPS agent spoke, "Since Mr. Gavin has full custody of the child, he is allowed to legally make this choice. We already have a new family waiting for (D/n)." I shook my head, "No. You don't understand. She's my baby. I don't agree with this decision."

Klavier frowned, "Fraulein, I know that this is hard for you, but we can have another baby. Maybe a few years from now." He turned to the CPS agent, "Is there anything else I need to sign?" The agent shook his head, "All the paperwork is in order. Since you have full custody, we don't need her signature. I can take (D/n) now." Klavier placed (D/n) in her carrier, buckling her in properly. He then handed the carrier to the agent.

I tried to grab the carrier from him, but Klavier wrapped his arms around me. I pulled away and turned around, slapping him hard in the face. I looked at the agent, "Please let me hold her one last time. Please." The agent shook his head, "I'm afraid I can't let you do that ma'am." Tears cascaded down my face. He looked at Klavier, "She will go to a good home. And we can set up visitation if you would like?" Klavier spoke, "Alright. Thank you."

Klavier held me back as the agent disappeared out the front door with (D/n). I heard the roar of a car engine before it faded into the distance. I dropped to my knees, screaming at Klavier, "I hate you! I hate you so much! She was our baby! Our own flesh and blood!" He looked at me, "Calm down fraulein..." I growled at him, "Calm down?! I'm done! You want to focus on your career and become a big bad boy rockstar?! Be my fucking guest because I certainly won't be here to support you!"

I went upstairs and packed my bags. I hated this and I hated him. I hauled my bags downstairs and grabbed my car keys. As I walked to the front door, I turned to Klavier one last time, "I hope you're satisfied!"

With that, I left. And I never went back.
