Kiera POV

Jackson led me to a grand table on a balcony high above the ocean that ran as far as the eyes could see. Boats were docked along the coast, and hundreds of people bustled around the lands. I was still in the South, but I wasn't sure exactly where.

"Sit, sweetheart. My servant will heal you some, but I don't get any ideas. Your strength will fade fast, and you'll need it for later." Jackson waved for Sebastian to approach me, then kissed my head before taking a seat.

"This won't hurt, Luna. Close your eyes and relax." Sebastian placed a ruby crystal on my forehead and began chanting. I didn't feel anything, so I just closed my eyes and let Athena rise inside me. I assumed this was just a ruse. Sebastian knew I was no longer wearing silver, so I didn't need to be healed.

"I can feel her power," Jackson said, inhaling sharply. "I miss owning that strength."

I wanted to scoff at him, stab his self indulged cruelty, but it was pointless.

'Did you see the boats below?' Sebastian's voice filled my head.

'Yes.' I responded.

'When the time is right, you head for the one painted blue with a dove on the side. Understand?'

'No, but I will figure it out.'

'Stubborn girl.' Sebastian chuckled.

I opened my eyes and said, "Thank you." He nodded to me, then turned to Jackson.

"She is healed enough for the night, Alpha. I'll visit you again in the morning."

"Perfect! I never thought there was a point in letting rogues live, but you have proven invaluable. Go, collect your payment." Jackson waved him off.

"Now, let's enjoy a nice meal as a family. Remember to behave, Kiera. We don't want to start our long evening before you had your fill of food." He grinned at me, then waved to the omegas to open a door on the other end.

I clenched my jaw as Katherine walked in. She looked too skinny, made up of only skin and bones, her eyes sunken and wolf weak inside her. She was wrapped around Marcus' arm, and two other females followed behind them. It appeared he had chosen a few more mates to claim as his.

'We can kill him.' Athena growled.

'Yes, we can. Katherine, too!' I agreed, letting Athena's bloodlust fuel me. It wasn't wise to let her have control, especially given the circumstances, but the hate inside me was too much.

"She is here too?" Amy whined, and I shot my head at her. She looked beautiful with long, curly red hair and a dark green dress. An omega walked beside her, holding what I assumed was her daughter. The baby began fussing, and Amy growled at the child. "What does this thing want from me?" She shouted, quickening her step to sit beside Jackson and across from me.

"Amy, don't start. I grow tired of your constant whining." Jackson rubbed his eyes.

"What do you expect me to do when you bring your whore to dinner? I'm your mate!"

"She was my wife before you and will always come first. You knew this, so stop pissing me off." Jackson shouted, making the baby cry out. "Comfort our daughter!" He ordered her.

Amy jumped up, taking the girl from the omega's arms, and began rocking her. My heart broke for that child. I can't imagine the horrible upbringing she would have with parents like them.

"Now that we are all settled. Let's eat." Jackson raised his hands, and food began pouring out from the kitchen and filling the large table.

"Wine, dear sister?" Katherine came beside me with a pitcher in hand.
