My body was being shaken.

"C'mon! We have to hurry! They're attacking!"

My eyes did not want to open up, no matter how hard I tried.
"We have to pick her up.. Otherwise she's gonna be digested by these monsters!"

I tried to speak, tried to ask what's wrong, but I couldn't.
Why can't I move?
What's going on?!
"Hell she's been here for over a year. She's probably never going to wake up! And if we waste any more time on her, we'll be digested by these monsters!"

My mouth began to move very lightly.
Another attempt at speaking, but it failed.
It always failed.
