I inhaled loud and deeply while I somehow managed to sit up.
My eyes opened abruptly.
".. she's alive.." some guy murmured.
"Finally.." another guy said.
It took me a few seconds before I realized that I had just sat up and opened my eyes on my own.
Omg.
As soon as realization hit me, the pain of my one eye returned and I immediately closed it again.
Gotta rinse it out..
"Well hello there" a woman said to me while waving a hand in front of my face, "Welcome back on earth"
My eyes followed the hand that was waving in front of my face.
I am alive.
I survived.
How is that possible?
"Guess you did manage to reanimate her. Good job, Itori" one of the guys said.
Reanimate?
"..." my lips parted, but no words came through.
The woman frowned a little: "Maybe her brain took damage from it.. After all she was.. Dead for quite a few minutes.. She might not remember a thing too"
Brain damage?
Dead for a few minutes? What even?!
But he's right about the not remembering anything part.
The two guys approached me as well.
I glanced up at them while all three of them were staring down at me.
One guy had gray hair and looked.. Well-built but his face was emotionless.
The other guy had black hair and a.. Side cut, he was lanky and full of tattoos and piercings but at least he seemed interested in my well-being.
And the woman - Itori - had red hair had a quite worried expression painted on her face.
"Yeah.. To me she seems quite alive though" the black haired male said as he poked my cheek.
I frowned at his touch.
"You're right. She can definitely hear us. - Maybe she never learned how to speak?" Itori suggested.
It felt weird, a little rusty, at first, but I managed to shake my head.
"Now that's strange" Itori added.
"Perhaps we should leave her alone for a bit, she seems quite tired" the black haired man spoke.
My stomach growled in return.
"Or maybe she's just hungry" Itori mumbled.
