The ghoul, named Naki, carried you to what they called their hospital. It was far from an actual hospital. It was a few 'beds' lined up in a row and some other ghoul taking care of injured ones. That you were now in Goat's base was something you were unaware of. You didn't even know what Goat was. Renji never told you about how :re was attacked and how most of them moved down here. He didn't mean to keep a secret, he simply didn't want to scare or worry you anyhow. But most of all, he didn't want to drag you into this. Now you were in there anyway. He swore himself to explain it all to you the second you would both be fine. That was his last thought after he noticed you took him to the base, then he drove off into dreamland.

While you were knocked out, Ken Kaneki, the leader, returned. He brought the news of Kishou Arima having passed on along with Kanou. Most ghouls celebrated, no one mourned them. But you would - partly. That your dearly beloved brother Kishou had passed was another information you had yet to hear of. Kaneki decided to keep it between him and Touka that Kishou actually committed suicide, that he didn't actually kill him like everyone assumed. It was a piece of info no one was supposed to know. However, he decided to vent to the person closest to him. Aside from that, he informed everyone that Japan was officially at war. It was humans VS ghouls. CCG VS ghouls - or more precisely ccg-ghouls and investigators VS free-living ghouls. Therefore leaving the Goat's base was almost impossible - especially alone.

Another thing that was bound to shock you was that quite some Aogiri Tree members were part of Goat. The ones that potentially either took advantage of you or at least knew about it, were now on your side - unless you'd decide against joining Goat. But now that you knew about their base, there was no way they'd let you go. The risk of you providing information to a third party was too high.

Kaneki decided to give you a visit once you both would be in better condition. Since you both experienced similar things: the surgeries, Kanou secretly experimenting, being an orphan, abuse. Kaneki and you had more in common than he initially thought. It was Touka who informed him about most key-points of your past.

But aside from the leader of Goat, no one was updated on your life. They knew about your pregnancy because of Touka reaching out to them back when Ren was abusing you during it. They knew they didn't help you. But they also knew that the little boy was born. Regardless of that, no one told them about his critical condition, the cancer and how his brain took damage from all you had been through... that he died. And no one, not even Renji, knew what Kanou told you: that Ryuu had been poisoned. All Goat members expected Ryuu to either be with you or believed you forgot him at home, didn't care enough. Touka and Hinami didn't share the news of his passing.

Koutarou was the only one who knew what was going on. But he had yet to return. Although he did follow you to the Goat's base, he didn't enter. He wanted to know where it was so he could find it in the future. But for now, he stayed at his place, watched the situation from afar and distanced himself from everyone.

Sleeping sped up the healing process, let you wake up sooner than you usually would have. While Renji woke up after roughly 2 full days, you only needed around 20 hours. For you, waking up meant being healed. For Renji, it meant that his wounds were no longer in critical condition - they weren't fully healed. Renji's rc cells weren't working as fast on patching him up than yours did. Both your wounds ended up being fatal - you both easily could've died.

It was all thanks to you that you both were fine.
