Half a year and a lot of therapies later, my memory was still lagging but my voice came back, my arm was in a cast and my eye was damaged for good - doctors said I'd go blind on it someday and for now it was "just" a growing cataract blurring my vision.
One of my first actions after my voice returned was to contact the police, since I had nowhere to go and definitely needed a place to stay. I hoped they'd know who I was, give me answers to my questions and help me - but the police had almost no information about me.. The only thing they knew was that I was sent to a hospital because I was already in a coma, that my name was (Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) and that I was apparently 24 years old. No birthday, no parents, no siblings, no certificates about anything. Basically I just appeared out of nowhere - which confused me .. and them.
During the last week of my stay at the hospital, I got a letter from Kamii University.
It said that I used to be a 4th year student there, studying biochemistry and molecular cell biology and they asked if I wanted to go back. BUT if I wanted to go back they'd only let me get into the second year as I'd have to repeat most things and because my 3rd year grades were really bad and I was missing 85% of the 4th year.
My first thoughts were.. Well that sucks.. But as soon as I read the bottom my thoughts changed. It said that I had a scholarship for this major which would pay all my bills, give me a monthly amount of money, give me an entire dorm for myself and high chances of a well paid job at the CCG's medical department afterwards.
So of course I decided to go back to being a student, if it'd be under those great conditions.
My first week at Kamii was rather weird. People kept acting like I was a complete stranger - others acted like we were the bestest friends in the world, even though I didn't know them.
And all these lectures were just so confusing to me. I mean.. They all made sense somehow but I was missing a lot of context.
A couple of students offered help but I couldn't bring myself to trust them after what happened with these three ghouls.
By the way, I had no trouble writing, for whatever reason I could still write very well.. I mean.. My handwriting became a little more messy but other than that, it was totally fine.
It's been 3 weeks since I came back to university and my head was already overflowing with information. To keep up with everything seemed quite difficult as well as re-learning the entire first year but I somehow managed to balance both things.
Today's been a really bad day though.
My head was aching, the weather was horrible and I had to read a 2580 pages book until monday. The only good thing was that I wouldn't have to wake up to go to university tomorrow - because it was friday.
To wind up this awful day in a nice manner, I decided to go to a very close and well-known café: Anteiku. Fellow students told me that it had an extremely calming atmosphere - and that was exactly what I needed right now: a nice coffee and a place to calm down.
Thanks to my arm still being in a cast, I had to use a shoulder bag which was carrying all the heavy books - making my back hurt - and make sure that the umbrella I was holding covered my entire cast and my bag, so that the books won't get soaked. Let's just say.. That was a little difficult.
At least my walking was almost perfect again, no more stumbling around.

Within a short amount of time, I reached the café and entered it after climbing the stairs.
