I have to stop him before someone sees us..

"Renji, stop!" I shouted after a few more minutes of him eating and me trying to gain courage to speak to him - it was clear to see that I was still shocked by what I just saw.

I wasn't scared of him, I was scared of his actions because it was something I had never experienced.

He won't hurt me.. He would never hurt me.

Wiping the last tears off my face I prepared to speak again.

Just as I was about to speak, Renji lifted his head and snapped it towards me.

My eyes were still covered but I peeked through my fingers, blocking most of my sight because I really didn't want to see this mess.

Suddenly he rushed over to me, roughly removed my hands by pulling on my wrists and stared right into my eyes with his kakugans while he sat down in front of me.

They scared me but at the same time fascinated me as well.

His expression was empty though, blood was all around his mouth and even on his cheeks.

"Stop it " I added with a rather quiet voice, completely stunned by his mesmerising eyes - not terrified at all.

His grip on my wrists tightened.

He.. won't injure me.. I ..have to remember that

I glanced at my left and then my right wrist with a frown, trying to signal to him that he was slightly hurting me, both of my wrists got bloody because he smeared it all over them with his hands - and just then I noticed that his jacket and even his pants were full of blood too.

How're we gonna go home with him looking like this..

"How could you..?" I asked calmly, not wanting to upset him.

He started frowning.

"They both have a family.. A wife and.. Even a child.. and you just killed them.." I mumbled.

His frown deepened.

"You can't ju- I mean.. Yes I know you have to do this but.." I sighed.

Why am I even saying this.. If he doesn't eat and therefore kill he'll die...

Before I could continue he let go of my wrists and closed his eyes for a few seconds, as he opened them again his kakugan was gone.

"Sorry" he mumbled as he quickly picked me up and used his kagune to help us jump up on a roof.

I would've screamed due to his sudden action but his kagune was just too mesmerising - just like his kakugans. I just couldn't look away.

Why are such pretty and interesting things so dangerous..

Once he made his kagune disappear, I realized that I was up on top of a building and quickly wrapped my arms around his neck to ensure that I wouldn't fall.
