"Do you know how to tend a wound?"
"Not yet.. I've only seen it on tv or read about it in books.."
"Here, take this and apply it - be careful"
"Okay.."
"It's cleaning the wound - after that.. Apply this.. It's ointment to help it heal.. Then wrap a clean bandage around it"
".. mh.. Okay.. - ... - is it going to hurt her?"
"It's going to hurt her.. But it'll help in the end"
"Are you sure?"
"I'm positive"
"Okay.. 3... 2... 1 .. here we go"
I groaned in pain and my eyes slowly opened.
"Oh no... should I stop?"
"No, no keep going"
My eyes met with a white ceiling - but then the young girl from the café bent over me with a tainted towel?
Omg I'm still alive
Without hesitation I sat up and hugged the little girl - thinking that she was the one saving me and completely forgetting that she was a ghoul as well.
Her face showed pure confusement but she didn't refuse the hug.
Everything was fine until immense pain ran through my entire neck-shoulder-arm area as I wrapped my arms around her body - so I groaned again.
Right.. the ghoul bit a chunk of my skin away..
Now both of my arms can't be used properly.. Well shit..
"Miss, you've been hurt pretty badly.. Let me attend your wound" she said with her cute voice.
"Y-yes.. That'd be.. Nice" I mumbled as I glanced down to my shoulder - causing my eyes to widen within another second.
Disgusting.. Omg..
So much?! This is not going to heal properly.
I'll have a huge scar for the rest of my life?!... At least I'm alive though..
The little girl continued to attend my wound, cleaning it with alcohol.
I watched her intently, she was being very careful and precise - it hurt like hell, but she was trying her best to make it less painful for me.
"My name is Touka.. I'm 12 years old.. I.. uh.. I really like insects - they're quite interesting and even cute sometimes" she began to tell me, probably trying to distract me from the pain.
