Today's verse: Philippians 3:20
NIV: But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.
NCV: But our homeland is in heaven, and we are waiting for our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to come from heaven.
Meaning: No matter what your race is if you're a Child of God, you're a Child of God. There is no earthly boarder, flag or country that can claim you, except that of Jesus Christ. Your homeland is heaven, the one place you are truly a citizen of. If your a true Child of God heaven is where you belong. Absolutely nothing will stop you. Heaven is our real home, we are just waiting for our "landlord" Jesus Christ to okay us to move in. Most people live in many different places until they find the perfect one. We live all over until Jesus decides to let us move into our forever home, heaven.
*** Short post for today... Sorry guys! I'm not really feeling well! I was at a baby shower for my cousin all day and when I returned home I began having a sharp pain on the left side of my abdomen.
