Hebrews 4:15

NIV: For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin.

NCV: For our high priest is able to understand our weaknesses. He was tempted in every way that we are, but he did not sin.

Meaning: Our God was tempted with Sin, just like all of us were. During his time on earth he was subjected to the exact same sin we were. But although he was tempted by the same sin we are, he remained perfect. He overcame the temptation. It's a great feeling to know we have a Lord that can empathize with us. He knows the temptations of sin, he will help us through it. We make our Lord to seem so perfect. I mean he is perfect but that doesn't mean he wasn't just as tempted by sin as we are. Although we all will sin, being sinless and resisting the temptation of sin is something we can all strive for.

Take action: Knowing that our Lord knows the struggle of sin is very. reassuring. So, this is once verse I again suggest memorizing! This verse also makes a great wallpaper for your phone :)

Have a great night guys :*
