Julia stood in front of the mirror, sucking her stomach in to see if it made her look any better in the black halter top as if she wasn't already thin as hell.

Though she didn't know why she was so concerned with her outfit. The only place she would be going was outside of town where no one would recognize her with a boy she had no interest in.

And her outfit didn't make her stand out or anything, quite the opposite actually.

There were plenty of girls in Lima who possessed almost identical closets to Julia as her aesthetic and style was one of a basic bitch. Though she would say the style didn't fully represent her and it was instead the straight girl mold she had attempted to squeeze herself into.

She didn't yet know where she fit into the grand scheme of things or how she wanted to dress, but she had plenty of time to figure it out once she left the constraints of the conservative Ohio society.

Somewhere like New York would be fitting for a complete makeover, especially since she strived to attend Julliard in the near future.

But for now, this would work.

Julia glanced back at her bed when her phone began to ring, the caller ID being a familiar one.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Jules. Puck just told me he's having a party tomorrow at his place."

Julia was slightly disappointed that the first thing Santana said to her had to do with Fuckerman.

"Another one?" Julia sighed, putting the phone on speaker and dropping it back onto her bed as she studied her image in the mirror once again, ensuring her jeans fit properly on her quite long legs.

"Yeah, another one. Tomorrow."

Last Friday Puck and another boy on the football team had organized party, practically anyone who wasn't at the absolute rock bottom of the high school hierarchy attending.

"Tomorrow? It's Monday," Julia furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yeah, so? It won't kill us to party on a weekday. You gotta study or something?" Santana sarcastically questioned, Julia rolling her eyes at Santana's persistence.

Clearly Santana only had interest in showing up at the party for Puckerman. Though she wouldn't go without her best friend, unknowingly hurting Julia by dragging her along just to spend all her time with Puck.

"And besides, today and tomorrow are the only days his mom will be out of house or something," Santana shrugged.

"You at his house right now?" Julia wondered, running her hands through her naturally loose curly hair that hung free, down to her mid-rib cage.

It was likely Santana was by his side since the only time she was at his house was for a hook up, even more plausible since Puck's mother wasn't in the house.

"No, he just texted me. So are you in or not?" Santana laid on her stomach on her own bed, staring at the adorable contact picture she had of Julia from the past summer when they took a weekend trip to the beach together.

"Fine, whatever," Julia reluctantly replied, only because it was what Santana wanted to hear.

"Great," Julia could practically hear Santana's excited smile that forced the edges of her lips upward. "You already went to dance practice today, right?"

"Yeah, right after school. Why?"

"You wanna come over then?"

Julia halted from all action, unsure of how she should respond.
