If you see that this was updated again, I just changed a couple of the references.
"House seats to sectionals?" Emma asked as Will entered the room a placed two tickets on the table in front of her.
"Those things are hard to come by. Scalpers are getting, like, five bucks for them," Will jokingly said but failed to make the redhead laugh. "I, however, as coach of one of the competing teams, get two, and I would be honored if you would be my plus one. I mean, y-you being at sectionals is-is kind of a good luck charm for us."
"I would love to," Emma smiles as she stops Will from rambling.
"I mean, not that we're gonna need any talisman. I have a killer setlist planned," Will smiled. "First-"
"No, let me guess," Emma said, starting to eat her food. "Finn and Rachel are going to do a ballad, right? Followed by the kids joining in with a classic rock number where Mercedes will belt out the last jaw-dropping note," Emma told the man.
"Have you been going through my desk?" Will asked, more than shocked.
"It's what you always do," Emma shrugged.
"Every team tries to showcase their strongest players," Will defended himself.
"Well, just seeing the kids do the Rocky Horror thing, it really reminded me of how much talent you've got in glee club. Julia has a beautiful voice, plus she can dance too, Mike Chang also has dance moves that are to die for. I'm sure that you know what you're doing. I'm not saying that. Everyone has picked you as the favorites for sectionals. You won your sectional last year, it's just, you guys used to be the underdogs. Now you're a real team, which is wonderful. You're a constellation of stars. I would just hate to think that you might be ignoring some of them because they don't burn quite as obviously bright," Emma finished, reading Will's expression. "I've said too much.
"No, you said just enough."

"Mr. Schuester, I have an announcement," Rachel stood up as Mr. Schue entered the room just after the bell. "I have selected the perfect moving ballad for Finn and I to sing to launch our performance at sectionals."
Almost every other kid in the room, except for Finn of course, rolled their eyes at the girl, particularly Quinn and Sam as well as Julia and Layton, the two other couples who could've been up for the ballad.
"Me first," Mr. Schue held his finger up. "Two things, first, our competition at sectionals are your classic stool choirs. Great voice, but they don't move. Now if we're going to beat them, we need to do what they can't; dance. Which is why I've decided to feature Julia and Mike Chang's sweet moves in our performance," Mr. Schue said as the kids congratulated the two.
Layton wrapped his arm tighter around Julia as Santana nudged the girl, giving her a smile, which Julia returned.
When Layton saw their contact, he glared at Santana until she looked over before returning the look and placing a hand on Julia's thigh.
"Wait, they're going to dance in front of me while I sing my solo?" Rachel asked, and suddenly the glee club was glaring at her again.
"You're not getting a solo for this competition, Rachel," Mr. Schue said causing all of the glee kids to smile while Rachel's dropped.
"Finally, so what song do I get to sing?" Mercedes asked, being the obvious second choice.
"I was thinking that the winners of our duets competition would take the leads," Mr. Schue motioned over to Julia and Layton who smiled at each other.
