Julia spun around in her office chair, closing the notebook that rested in her lap and turning her attention toward the ceiling.  She let out a sigh as she pushed off the ground with her feet to keep herself spiraling.

It was kind of ironic since she felt like she was in a downward spiral to insanity.

I really need to get my shit together.  Wow, that's a great quote I should hang on my wall or something because I'm always forgetting to do it.

I don't know why I messed everything up again.  I shouldn't be this emotional over my best friend.

It was really dumb of me to get mad at her like that.  Her and Sam aren't that big of a deal anyways.  I mean, she doesn't even like him.

Then why do I feel like this?  Like my whole world is just crashing down on me and I don't know what the hell to do.  If I see her touch him, I think I'll barf, let alone make out with him.

No me gusta.

I'm such a hypocrite.  I don't even like Layton and I'm still with him, so why can't Santana do the same thing?  I really am a hypocrite.

Oh shit, that means I'm turning into Finn!  Goddammit, make it stop!

I just need to man up--or woman-up-- and take it and stop being a fucking baby.  She's with someone, I'm with someone, that's how it is.

So what if I feel light-headed when she smiles at me, or my heart stops when she laughs?

Dear god, this is gonna kill me.  She's gonna kill me.

"That sounds awful," Julia sighed, her phone pressed against her ear, walking alongside Brittany.

"Is anyone going?" the other Latina asked.

Oh, and Santana was there too.

She stood on the other side of the blonde but the two Latinas refused to make eye contact, let alone speak to each other.

"Let me find out," Brittany said, pressing a button on her phone causing Artie to dial into their call.  "Did you hear?"

"Yes, Mercedes just told me," Artie responded before mumbling was heard in the background of the other line.

Julia and Brittany shared a look before they heard Artie's voice again.

"Tell them yourself, I ain't no Pony Express," Artie said to who Julia assumed was Mercedes.

Mercedes buzzed into the call.

"You're going, right?" Mercedes asked.

"Only if there's liquor," Santana said.

"Yeah, a Rachel Berry party is not something I could do sober," Julia shook her head as she indirectly spoke to Santana for the first time since the...incident.

"But it's alcohol awareness week," Brittany told the girls.

"Precisely, and I am aware of how much fun alcohol is," Julia shrugged.

"Let's ask Puckerman," Santana stated before pressing a button on her phone.

"You're a go for Puck," another voice was heard.

"Noah, it's Britania and Artcedes," Santana started, creating "ship" names for the group.  "Can your friend score us some wine coolers?"

"No, but his ID can," Puck said as all members of the phone call eventually met up in person at the corner of the hallway.
