"This is stupid," Julia said, walking toward the cafeteria, leading the pack of Cheerios with Quinn, Santana, and Brittany.

"What, you and Layton?" Santana asked as Julia scoffed.

"Stop with the 'I hate Layton' parade," Julia rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.

"Well then you stop with the 'I hate Puck' convention," Santana raised her voice a bit.

"But you don't even like him!" Julia's voice got even louder.

"How can you say that I don't like him?  You don't know anything!" Santana shouted back.

"Because-"

"Okay, both of you stop," Quinn said, pushing the Cheerios away from each other and inserting herself in between them to keep them apart.  "Just shut up and let's get this over with."

Santana rolled her eyes as Julia scoffed, looking past Quinn, at Santana, and giving her a glare which Santana returned.

The Cheerios headed straight for the lunch lines and pushed past students and lunch ladies to grab the giant trays of tater tots and any tater tots students had already grabbed were pried off of their trays by the gigantic pack of Cheerios.

Just as the girls were about to take the tots away, Mercedes intervened.

"Where do you think you're going with those?" Mercedes asked the foursome as they each carried a tray of tots in their hands.

"Principal Sue banned the tots," Santana told the girl.

"She can't do that!" Mercedes exclaimed.

"They look like deep-fried deer poop," Brittany said as Julia gave the girl a look, wondering why the blonde at them if she thought they looked that way.

"Take it up with principal Sue," Julia said before the girls strutted away to pour the tater tots into the trash cans.

Not before Brittany took a handful of course.

The Cheerios then walked to their lunch table, but not before Julia and Santana shared a glare, the two of them now fully invested in their new rivalry that revolved around their boyfriends.

Holly and Rachel began to sing a song that Julia wasn't particularly interested in.  Santana kept her eyes on the performance, sitting in the row behind Julia, afraid to look down and see Julia and Layton together.

But when Santana's eyes couldn't help but flicker down at the girl, she saw her sandwiched in between Layton and Quinn, Quinn leaning on the armrest between the two girls who were more so best friends when Santana was suddenly out of the picture.

Julia was talking to Layton, completely ignoring the entire performance.  Completely ignoring Santana.  And all for what?

All because of a boy.

A curly-haired boy had suddenly entered Julia's life and turned everything that Santana knew on its head.  Everything was different when he was around.

Neither of the best friends had ever had serious boyfriends until now, when Santana was with Puck and Julia was with Layton.  Well, except for the time when Julia was with Spencer.

Spencer was Julia's first all the way back in freshman year.  Julia was a completely different person at that time.  She was soft, sweet, and loving.  So, it only took a matter of weeks for her to fall deeply in love with a football player named Spencer.

They seemed like the sweetest most innocent couple in the school.  That was until Spencer cheated on her with four different girls.  Quinn, Santana, and Brittany, looking out for their best friend, told the story to the rest of the Cheerios and football players.  With an overexaggerated story and sex appeal, the foursome ended up getting him kicked off the football team for no worthy reason and he began to get slushied every day.

It was so bad, Spencer had to move off to Wyoming; and even more boring state than Ohio.

That event was what truly changed Julia, and with a little help from Quinn and Santana (mostly Santana), she turned colder and harsher and sassier.

And ever since then, Santana had always been by Julia's side and this was the first time she wasn't.  A boy began the close relationship between Julia and Santana and now a boy was destroying a friendship between the two girls.

Both of the girls were probably the most stubborn girls in the school so there was no way that they were simply going to just drop it and everything would go back to sunshine and rainbows.

Santana figured the only way to end this was to get Layton out of the picture.  So, she was going to have to get back to her plan of stealing Layton's phone.

She hoped she would find some dirty secrets on there.

Maybe...some cheating?
