Julia and Santana walked into the empty bathroom side by side, each taking places in front of the mirror.
"You know, Brittany seemed so sad about leaving the glee club and everything," Julia said as she twisted open the cherry lip gloss she couldn't live without and Santana took down her high ponytail only to adjust and re-do it. "So I think I'm gonna go over to her house tonight, maybe get her some chocolate and her favorite Disney movies and hopefully cheer her up a bit."
"Is the Leprechaun gonna be there?" Santana asked, looking at Julia through the mirror and raising an eyebrow.
"I don't know, probably," Julia shrugged, continuing to smear glittery gloss across her lips. "I don't think he has any friends to go out without. Besides Finn, maybe."
"Well let me tell you, if he tries to make a move I-"
"San, he's not gonna try anything, I think you scared way too bad for him to even look at me while I'm there," Julia smiled at her girlfriend and her overprotectiveness and jealousy.
"M'kay, if you say so," Santana sighed as she tightened her ponytail and Julia finally put away her lip gloss.
Julia reached over to grab Santana's hand which was planted on the sink counter and intertwine their fingers, Santana glancing down at their hands before looking back up at her girlfriend.
"Hey, if I ever were to accept one of Rory's advances, please take me to a hospital because I'd 100% be sick or in the process of dying," Julia said as Santana giggled and flashed the smile that was only reserved for Julia. "Cause I love you way, way, way too much to even think about liking another person that isn't you."
Santana tugged Julia closer by their locked hand so the green-eyed girl stood just in front of her.
"I love you too," Santana whispered back before leaning in to delicately place her lips on Julia's, Julia subconsciously holding Santana's hand just a bit tighter.
It was quite a long and soft kiss before the two heard the creak of a door opening.
Julia's first instinct was to peel her lips off of Santana's and let go of her hand in order to extend both of her arms and push Santana away from her.
Julia snapped her neck to peer over at whoever had decided that they needed to walk into the bathroom at that very moment.
And why was Julia not surprised to see that it was Rachel standing in the doorway?
Julia quickly tore her eyes off of the theater girl and took a glimpse of Santana who had stumbled backward, almost hitting the wall. Julia covered her mouth with her hand out of shock.
"Oh my god, Tana, are you okay?" Julia fakely said, running over to her girlfriend as Rachel simply watched the scene play out.
"Y-Yeah, yeah I'm fine," Santana displayed her best fake smile as she regained her balance. "Sometimes you just...you know, trip over air," Santana said with an awkward laugh.
"Uh, yeah, I've, uh, done...done that before," Julia stammered, returning an equally as awkward laugh before grabbing Santana by the hand and dragging her toward the door, wanting to get out of the bathroom and away from the situation as quickly as possible. "Come on."
Just as they approached the door, the Latinas pushed Rachel out of the way, giving her their usual bitchy glares reserved just for her.
"Hobbit," Julia addressed the girl, narrowing her eyes as Rachel gave them blank yet confused stares.
"Dwarf," Santana added before Julia pushed open the door and led her out.
Julia made sure they were a distance away from Rachel before she let out the breath she was holding and broke out into apologies.
