"So, uh, why are we all here?" Artie asked as he rolled into the choir room, a portion of the glee club already there while a couple other members filed in behind him.
"Yeah, and who even called this meeting?" Sam questioned as he settled into his chair in the front row, the others taking various seats around the room.
"I did," Brittany announced, jumping off of the piano where she previously sat and standing before almost the entire glee club who was a bit surprised at this information, Brittany never really contributing to glee club unless it was one of her unintentionally hilarious remarks. "And I-"
"Wait, if this is a glee meeting, shouldn't all of us be here? Where's Julia and Santana?" Mercedes inquired, eyes scanning about the room for the two missing Latinas.
"They're probably making out in a closet somewhere," Puck scoffed. "You think they'd let me join?"
"That's gross," Quinn lightly smacked the boy upside the head with a glare, Puck rubbing the mostly bald spot on his head shortly after.
"Are you guys blind or something?" Brittany intervened, throwing her hands up in the air, clearly annoyed by the ignorance of the glee club. "That's the problem: they're not making out in a closet somewhere," Brittany pouted, her fellow students very confused by Brittany's statement.
"I think what Brittany's trying to say is that they're ignoring each other for some stupid reason," Quinn clarified.
"Yeah, and I thought I was the dumb one," Brittany rolled her eyes at the club but had to smile, knowing that if Julia was there she would probably give her a bone-crushing hug and tell her that she was a genius no matter what people said.
"And why should we care?" Rachel asked, uninterested in the dilemma as a lot of the class was.
"Because we need to find a way to get them back together, duh. Glee club's not the same without them," Brittany frowned.
"Still, why should we care?" Tina repeated Rachel's question. "They bully us all the time so why would we ever help them?"
Brittany slightly panicked as she watched everyone start to rise from their seats to leave the choir room. She desperately wanted to make everything right between her two best friends once again, and she knew she couldn't do it alone.
"Wait! Wait, no, hear me out," Brittany exclaimed, holding her hands out to stop everyone.
The glee kids exchanged weary looks before hesitantly falling back into their seats, letting the blonde finish her speech.
"Yeah, Julia and Santana they're...honest," Brittany tried to put it as lightly as possible. "But it doesn't mean they haven't done stuff for us. I mean, Julia was helping Sam out when he was a hobo stripper boy," Brittany pointed out, gesturing toward the other blond.
"I wasn't a stripper back than and I wasn't really a ho-"
"Plus she got us that tape of Sebastian confessing he made Blaine a pirate," Brittany interrupted Sam with an equally as questionable statement.
The glee club shared a few more confused glances, wondering if Brittany actually thought Kurt's bow tie-wearing boyfriend was a pirate.
"And Santana made that anti-bullying club when she was fake dating Karofsky so Kurt could come back to McKinley and leave the gay school," Brittany said without falter.
"Wait, they were fake dating-"
"And when we were going to leave the New Directions for the Cheerios, we all came back because we love being here, with you guys. Julia and Santana love being here with you guys, even if they don't really know how to show it. So excuse me for thinking that after all they've done for you, you'd do something for them in return."
