Matt's POV
As I made my way into the nursery, I saw Matteo starting to calm down right when he saw me. I smiled at my beautiful month old son as I walked up to the nursery. In the time since he was born, we haven't spent much time together just me and Matteo. It was mostly Gabby that fed him but, now that she was pumping, I might finally get a chance.
After walking in, I made my way to this crib and smiled while going to tickle him. "Does somebody want something to eat before they go to bed?" Matteo calmed down as I tickled him. I then reached down and grabbed him before kissing his head. "God, you are so cute. Please don't grow up too fast. I can't handle how cute you are." I moved to sit in the recliner and smiled while grabbing a bottle of milk from the fridge.
I then went to heat it up a bit using some bottle heater thing before I finally sat down and held Matteo close to me. Checking the temperature of the milk on my wrist, I moved to give him a bottle and smiled as I opened the recliner so that we could cuddle a little bit. I just stared down at him as he drank his milk and just sat in awe of how lucky I was.
He was the size of my forearm and it just felt so natural holding him like that. I started thinking about our future. What we might do in the future when it came to football or soccer, maybe he would be a contractor like me...maybe we would make it a family business. A father and son like business that I always dreamed of. All I knew was that, he was my world now and I was so happy to have him in mine.
