Chapter 283

Meanwhile in the Washroom - Matt's POV

As I stood in the washroom, I filed up the tub with semi-warm water. I was about to put Matteo in the shallow water I filled when I remembered that I needed his baby soap. Turning off the water and picking Matteo up, I walked back out of the room to see Gabby taking off her dress. "You weren't wearing a bra tonight?" Gabby turned to look at me, scared. "Shit, you scared me."

I nodded. "Sorry, just needed to grab the baby soap." I moved to walk over to Matteo's bag and then went to find it. I then grabbed it before looking at her. Walking up to her, I smiled as I went to kiss her softly. "Want me to fill it up for the two of us after we put him to sleep?" Gabby looked at me and nodded smiling. "Don't fill it up right after, I still need to feed him remember?"

I nodded and smiled. "Get a bottle ready and then, when I am back...we can feed him, put him to bed before we head into the bath for a nice massage." Gabby smiled when I said that before I walked away to go give Matteo a bath. Once I was back in the washroom, I set his towel down on the toilet before moving to put him in the water. I then smiled at him as we washed him.

That's when I heard Gabby walk in behind me and sat down next to me. "Might as well do it together." I liked that idea and nodded before moving over. Gabby then sat down in my lap as we watched Matteo in the water and just gave him his first bath. "Too bad we aren't giving him his first bath at home." Gabby nodded and sighed. "It's okay, we are still doing it together."

I smiled when she said that and then moved to kiss her shoulder. "Listen, I wanted to talk to you about earlier tonight. Was it just me or was it really awkward when we were around Cordova?" Gabby sighed and looked at me as she went to wash Matteo's hair. "I felt the same way. I think, deep down he still has feelings for me." I nodded. "I think that's the same way for all the men you've ever dated. I don't think we would be together right now if I didn't still love you deep down." Gabby nodded and smiled when I said that. "Thank god you still had them."

I chuckled and smiled when she said that before kissing her shoulder. "Let's get him all washed up, then I can fill it up for us. I want to just hold you in my arms in the bath." Gabby nodded and smiled as we continued to wash Matteo together, ready to take a bath that night.
