Gabby's POV
As I held Matt close to me, I started to hear the sirens. The first people I saw was the Police. Apparently, they didn't tell Antonio it was me because he was scared as he ran out to me. "Gabby!" He looked at Matt. "What happened?" Matt looked at him. "Your father happened." He turned to look at dad and then went to get up. "That's it." He went to grab his handcuffs. "Dad, I have to do this. Please don't resist."
I watched as my dad just let Antonio do his work. "Ramon Dawson, you are under arrest for attempted assault causing bodily harm. You have the right to remain silent and speak to an attorney. If you do not have an attorney, one will be provided to you. Any and all words spoken from this point forward can and will be used against you in the court of law." Antonio then looked at my father, turning him around. "Get a good look at my sister. I want that engraved in your skull! You caused this! You hurt her!"
He gulped at my brother. "Antonio...." Antonio had enough. "That's detective Dawson to you. He went to look at his other officers who joined him. Jay then walked over and looked at us. "We will get your statement at the hospital." He then grabbed my dad from Antonio and looked at him. "Stay with your family, I'll take your car to the hospital." Antonio nodded before going to stand close to Matteo. "Listen, you guys send me a list of groceries okay? I will do them for you once you are at med."
Matt turned and nodded at Antonio. "Thanks Antonio. Now, how about you let the ambulance through. Gabby, I have to get Matteo...we will meet you at the hospital." I nodded and smiled at him. Matt smiled and nodded, kissing me softly before getting up. He then walked over to Antonio and looked at him. "Here, I have a list on my phone. Here are my keys to the house. Can you put them away and grab me some clothes? I'm gonna go with Gabby."
Antonio nodded and smiled. "Send me the list, I'll tell Voigt I'm off." We both smiled at Antonio, happy he is on our side.
