Gabby's POV
After eating breakfast together, me and Matt were now all comfortable in bed, holding each other close while watching tv. Well, more like listening. We were also making out at the same time because Matteo was asleep in his crib and we want to take advantage of whatever alone time we get since, eventually...they will become less and less often as Matteo grows up.
Everything was going great, until Matt's phone beeped. "Don't you dare." He sighed and then moved to kiss my shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me. "You check all your texts from your brother. Why shouldn't I do the same for Severide?" I looked at him. "How do you know it's Severide?" Matt smiled. "Because I chose one person to text on this trip. I chose my best friend."
I nodded. "Fine, you get Severide...I get Antonio." He nodded before rolling over in bed. Grabbing his phone, he chuckled when he saw Severide's reaction to a video he sent him. "I knew he would like the video I sent him." I then looked at him. "You sent him the video of the room service robot didn't you?" He looked at me and nodded smiling. "I had too, it's so cool."
I smiled at him before wrapping my arms around him and nuzzling my head into his neck. I felt him rub my arm and then smiled as he started to kiss my head. "I am so glad we are here in Miami. Honestly, I have never felt so happy." I leaned back and looked at him. "We are not moving to Miami if that's what you're thinking." He looked at me and shook his head.
"Can't I be happy here in Miami and everywhere simply because I have my girl in my arms, all cuddled up to me?" I smiled at him and then when to grab his neck, kissing him again. "I want to try again next year okay? This time, we go through it together." Matt then looked at me, a little shocked. "You are already thinking about us trying for another baby?"
