Chapter 301

Matt's POV: As I made my way to the door, I smiled at Matteo who looked adorable in his jumper. Once I finally made my way there, I went to open it to see Antonio was here. "Antonio, I thought we were going to drop him off at your place?" He smiled and hugged me. "Thought it would be easier to just watch him here. Plus, Gabby made bottles here."

Gabby then looked at him and nodded. "Yes, now feel free to use our bed to sleep tonight. We are at the firehouse all night. I am working a 24 hour shift too." Antonio walked over to her and smiled as he hugged her. However, I was not happy with the idea he was going to sleep in our bed. "Gabby, really? Our bed."

Gabby just glared at me. "I am letting you go back to work early and you haven't set up the guest room yet. So, shut up or else I will not be sleeping in your officer's quarters tonight. I will sleep on my bunk." I nodded and decided to shut up since I was already going back to work earlier than expected. 

Antonio then smiled at me. "How about you guys get going? The traffic was rough and you should get there early." I looked at Gabby and nodded. "He has a point." Gabby then sighed before walking over to Matteo. She picked him up in her arms before kissing his cheek. "I love you buddy." I then decided to walk over and smiled. I then grabbed him.

Kissing him on his cheek, I held him close. "Me and your mom will see you later tonight for supper. You are bringing him right Antonio?" Antonio nodded and smiled while Gabby was shocked. "He's going to come for dinner?" I nodded and shook my head. "He'll bring the pump so you can make more bottles." Gabby liked that idea before rubbing my arm.

"That's perfect. But listen, I need to get this Chief to the firehouse before we start up. Call me later okay?" Antonio nodded and smiled before me and Gabby left the house to go to our other house, the firehouse where I was now acting Fire Chief.
