6 Hours Later in Miami:
Gabby's POV: As I walked off the plane with Matt, I smiled because we were able to already get Matteo's stroller. We pushed him together while holding hands, glad to see he was finally asleep. Unfortunately, we ended up being those type of parents. The ones who couldn't get their babies to relax. He was awake the entire time and didn't sleep. He cried a lot because it hurt his ears.
Once we finally did get to the arrivals zone near the bag claim, I turned to look at Matt and sighed. "Can you watch for our bags? I am going to concentrate on this guy." Matt nodded as he wrapped his arm around me and then kissed my forehead. "We can stay in the hotel today. He needs rest and we can just watch TV. Pool tomorrow."
I nodded, ready to relax. I already changed into some warmer clothes on the flight and I was glad I did that because it is really hot here. Once we finally let go of each other, Matt went to watch for our bags when I decided to call Antonio so that I could let him know we are here. Grabbing my phone, I found his number and then called it.
"Detective Dawson, CPD Intelligence." I chuckled when he answered. "Didn't check the Caller ID...again?" Antonio laughed. "Sorry, you guys in Miami?" I nodded. "Yes, we just landed. I wanted to let you know so that you knew we were safe. Thanks again for the ride." I smiled while talking to my brother. "It was no problem. Now, I have work. Have fun and be safe." I chuckled and nodded before hanging up when I saw Matt was about to miss one of our bags.
"Matt! That's Matteo's suitcase!" He turned to look at me and then went to grab it. He then blushed. "Sorry." He then saw the rest of our bags coming, glad it didn't take long. Grabbing them all together, he put his duffle bag over his shoulder before opening the other two suitcase handles so he could roll them over to me. I then looked at him and smiled. "Here, you push him with one hand and give me the suitcases."
He nodded, knowing that it was not a time to argue. "We need lunch when we get to the hotel." I couldn't disagree with that and smiled as I rubbed his arm. We then started to make our way to the cabs so that we could get one and make our way to the hotel.
