Gabby's POV
As me and Matt arrived at the hotel with Matteo, I decided to take care of him while Matt dealt with checking us in. After getting all of our bags out of the car, Matt put them on a dolly and then smiled at me. "We are finally at our home away from home for the next 2 weeks." I smiled when I heard that before pushing Matteo in his stroller. Walking in together, I loved the design in the hotel and was just so glad to be out of Chicago and in the warm heat of Miami.
Walking over to the desk as a family, I smiled when there was no line. Walking right up to the counter, Matt spoke up for us. "Hi." The clerk looked up at us and smiled. "Welcome to 1 Hotel South Beach. How can I help you?" Matt smiled. "Reservation for 3 under Matthew Casey." The clerk then looked at his computer. "Uhm, the only reservation I have here is for a Matteo Casey."
We both looked at each other and laughed. "I did it lake at night. Matteo is our son's name. Can you just change it to Matthew?" He nodded and then went to change the reservation. "Good, now we can check you in Mr. Casey. Can I see a piece of ID?" He showed him his Driver's License and then smiled. "Okay, here you go. This is your room key." He then told us our room number before pointing us towards the elevator.
Matt smiled at me and nodded. "Let's go rest up there for a while." I agreed with him because that's what we needed to do. We could go to the pool later. Right now, Matteo needed a nap.
