Kaite Bells Attack-year 6 chapter 8

"What's going on?" Sam whispered to you. You shrugged your shoulders in response. You watched as a lady with purple hair popped out of thin air behind Weasley and Granger. Potter's hand flew off the man. After a few seconds, Potter and his friends enterd the Three Broom Sticks.

"He was nicking Sirius' stuff!" Potter said as he stepped through the door. You and Sam sat back down.

"I know, Harry, but please don't shou. People are stairing." Granger said looking around. Indeed the few people that were in the pub were watching the group. Draco's friend, Zabini, was leaning against a piller. Listening to everything. Granger told the boys to go sit down and she would get some drinks.

"I wonder why Potter's so upset." Sam said. Looking back to you.

"I guess that, that man he had pinned to the wall was stealing stuff from Sirius." You answered.

"You mean Sirius Black?" Sam asked looking back at Potter. "Why would he care?"

"Oh... well." You said. Sam trunes back to you. "Sirius Black is Draco's mom's cusion."

"Oh!" Sam said shocked. "But..." she looked confused. "What does that have to do with this?"

"I was told that Sirius Black was Potter's God father."

"Yeah, it's my stuff he's nicking!" Potter said with a bit of realizationin his voice. You and Sam both looked over at them.

"Lets go back to the school." You said. Sam nodded in agreement. The trip wasn't all that great anyways. It was cold and the wind was fridged. You both left the pub and took the long cold walk back to the school, only to be stoped by Filtch. He searched for dark items and when he didn't find any, he let you go.

"Well, I'm gonna go see if Sebastian's back yet." Sam said as she waved and ran off. You waved back smiling.

You walked down to the dungeons and entered the star room. The fire was lit and you found Draco sleeping on the couch. You sat the bag of sweets you got at Honey Duke's on the table.

"Draco," you whispered as you walked up to him. When he didn't respond, you kissed his forehead and pulled the blanket over him. His eyes flicked opend then closed again. "You're so cute." You whispered and sat in the chair. You watched the Pygmy puffs, who had been living in the star room all this time, chase each other around the room, while (n/n) slept ontop of Draco as if he was a cat.

You slowly nodded off and was woken up hours later to Draco getting into the bag of sweets. You sat up and watched him as he pulled the sugar quill out of the bag.

"When did they start making these so big?" He whispered to himself.

"Not sure," you said, startling him. "But I thought you would like it." You yawned. "I got you some chocolate frogs too." You told him as you walked up to him.

"How was your trip?" Draco asked, as he unwrapped the sugar quill. You told him how the weather was cold and how thw wind was strong.

"But what was do weird, was Potter attacked someone called Mundungus. He claimed the the man was taking stuff from Sirius Black." You said, opening a box of Fizzy Wiz Bees. Draco looked at you with interest. "He didn't seem very happy about it all, even pointing his wand at the man."

"Well, that's because Mundungus is part of the Order of the Phoenix, and has been stealing and selling stuff from their head quarters." Draco said casually, and without taking a breath, changed the subject. "Well, I'm off to find Crabbe and Goyle. They were supposed to pick a few things up for me." And out the door he went, leaving you to your own devices.

You thought that was wired, but Draco had been acting this way since he got that mark. You shrugged it off and headed out to find your friends.

As you walked around looking for Sam, you heard crying. Sitting in an empty room was a fellow Hufflepuff, Leanne. She was clearly upset over something. You knocked on the half opend door and stepped inside.

"Oh, hi (y/n)." She said, whipping her tears away.

"What's wrong?" You asked her concerned. You walked in and sat beside her. The two of you weren't exactly friends, but that didn't mean you were friendly to each other.

"It's my friend Kaite. She's in the hospital wing." Leanne sobbed then looked at you. " Kaite and I were at the Three Broom Sticks. Kaite whent to the bathroom and when she came out she had a package. She was insisting she take it to the school. I fallowed her out of the pub and qere arguing. I tryed to take it from her and the package wrapped. That's when she rose six feet into the air. She stretched her arms out to her sides and screamed. I screamed and pulled her back down with the help of Potter and his friends. Kaite was still screaming. She started thrashing around so Potter went to get help. He came back with Hagrid, who carried Kaite off to the school. Potter looked down at the package. 'I've seen that before. It was on display in Borgin and Burkes ages ago. The lable said it was cured. Kaite must of touched it.' He said then asked me how Kaite got it. She wouldn't say."

"That's scary." You said, pulling her into a side hug. "Madam Pomphy is realy good at her job. I'm sure she will do all she can."

"Yeah." She sobbed, looking at the ground. "Im just realy worried about her."

"I know you are." You replied sympathetically.

"Hey!" She said with a hint of realizationin in her voice and looking back at you. "You're dating Malfoy, right?" You nodded confused. "Well," Leanne said more softly. "Potter was saying that Malfoy knew about the necklace. The way he was talking, he made it sound like it was Malfoy who gave Katie the necklace."

"He couldn't have." You said calmly. "He was at the school. He had detention with McGonagall." This seemed at calm Leanne.

"I didn't think you would be with someone who could actually hurt someone." She said. "You're just to kind for that." She was right. If Draco had done it, it would have made you very angry with him. His bark was a lot worse then his bite.
