You slept in a separate room from Draco. The cabin did have three rooms, after all. You got ready for bed and found you couldn't sleep. It seemed that everyone around you had spend the first half of your life lieing to you. You got up and went to Draco's room. The door was cracked open.
"Draco?" You whispered, and opend the door more. When he didn't answer you went in. He was sound asleep. He was a deep sleeper. You pulled back the covers and slid in next to him. Draco's arm wrapped around you and you felt safe.
Draco's pov
About an hour later, Draco opened his eyes and noticed you next to him. He couldn't help but smile.
"Hi." Draco said sweetly. You jumped and smiled back.
"Hi." You replied in the same sweet tone.
Your pov
"What are you doing?" Draco spoke softly, obviously still sleepy.
"You're the only one who hasn't been lieing to me." You said, snuggling into him. "I'm so tired of the lies and the secrets." You said, sleepily.
"I wont lie to you." Draco said pulling you closer to him. You looked at him. "There's no need to. You would find out the truth anyways." You smiled. "You're pritty clever," he yawned. "You will discover what your looking for." He said the last sentence in a dreamy done and fell back to sleep.
"I love you, Draco." You said and kissed him before going to sleep in his arms.
The next morning you woke, still being held close. You moved Draco's arm and sat up. Draco rolled over. You climbed out of bed and headed down the hall and found your aunt sitting at the table.
"Good morning, Aunt (a/n)." You said sitting down.
"Morning," She replied. The night before, she had told you how she was a Death Eater and why. The two of you sat in awkward silence for a few minutes.
"Did you go to school with Lucius Malfoy?" You asked, to brake the loud silence. She smiled and nodded.
"Those Malfoys," she said, sounding almost like she was recalling a memory. You shot her a look that must have told her to keep going because she gave a small giggle and when on. " your mom and I both had a crush on Lucius back in my fourth year; he was in his third."
"You liked him?" You were astonished.
"Yes well," she started, then drifted off. She was looking towards the kitchen but it didn't seem to appear she was seeing what you could see. She was quite for a moment then continued. "Your grandmother liked Draco's grandfather."
"What?" You asked, not sure if you were dreaming. "There's always been something about the Malfoy boys, that draw the girls in our family to them."
"Has any of them every married a Malfoy?" You asked out of curiosity.
"No, the Malfoy boys had a tendency to clash heads with us. We're great as friends, but nothing more." You looked back at the room where Draco was sleeping. "But not one, as far as I know, have ever liked us girls back. The was Draco looks at you, well lest just say, the rest of us girls wished the Malfoy boys we liked looked at us like that." You looked back at your aunt. "He love you will all he has."
"I love him too. I just wish he would be nice to people." You sighed thinking about the comming school year. He was surely to be his cold version.
"He's like his father," Your aunt said. "Lucius is kind to his friends, but has a whole different veiw then Draco." You had told her about how he asked his father not to harm Sam last summer and how he was sitting with you at the Hufflepuff table, which ment sitting next to Sam, who was a muggle-born. You had also told her how Draco sometimes uses the term 'muggle-born' instead of 'mudblood'. You looked back at the room were Draco was. "I think that you might be the one the pulls the two family lines together." You heard the bedroom door open, and Draco walked out.
"Good morning, Draco." You said as he joined you and your aunt at the table. The rest of the summer flew on by. The night before you and Draco were to head home, you woke to a loud crack. You sat up in your bed and looked around for the source. When you didn't see anything you made your way to Draco's room.
"You heard it too, huh?" Draco said, seeing you as he opened his door. You nodded. "It sounded like someone aperating."
"But who?" You got out just as there was knock.
"(A/n)! Let me in." The voice of Lucius sounded through the door. He didn't sound happy.
"What's my father doing here?" Draco asked himself. You looked at Draco wondering the same thing.
"(A/n)! LET ME IN!" Lucius demanded.
"What is all the ruckus?" You aunt had gotten up and was headed to the door. She opened it. "What do you want at this hour Lucius?" She didn't sound happy either.
"I tryed to aperat into your living room and I get thrown back! I ended up a few yards away!" Lucius said with a g
Forced restraint.
"I put a charm on the cabin years ago." Your aunt said letting him inside. "What are you doing here at this time?" She shut the door. You and Draco slipped back into your room. Neither of the two adults noticed you in the hall to begin with. You peeked out of the sliver sized crack made by the door not being latched.
"The Dark Lord sent me. He wants to know why you haven't been doing what he asked you to." Lucius sat down on the couch.
"I am not a loyal fallower." Your aunt said in defiance.
"You know what happens when you disobey, right?" Lucius asked her.
"I do, and just because I haven't reported all summer, does not mean I haven't done what was asked of me." Your aunt said walking over to the bookshelf by the fire. The two acted as if they hated each other. "Here!" She shoved a small wooden box into Lucius hands.
"You got it then?" He asked.
"Yes, now why couldn't this wait till morning when I was awake?" Your aunt sat down next to him. "You know I'm a grump when I'm woken up."
"He sent me, I didn't really have a choice. I should get back now. I'll see you around." Lucius spoke with a friendlier tone, then with another loud cracking noice, he was gone. You stepped out of the room.
"What was in the box?" You asked sternly. Your aunt jumped.
"Nothing you should worry about." She answered and saw the glare you were giving her. "A book." She caved. "The Dark Lord asked for it." You rolled you eyes at her. "It's full of notes from Gellert Grindelwald." You went back to your room, annoyed. Draco was sitting on your bed.
"Scoot over," you told him. "I'm going back to bed."
"Your clearly upset." Draco said, moving to the other side of the bed.
"I am!" You said and climbed under the covers. Draco didn't say anything, but stayed sitting. "Are you going to lay down?" You asked after a bit, speaking softer then you spoke earlier. Draco smiled at you and slipped under the covers with you. You snuggled into him.
"Why did he have to wake the house up." You whispered annoyingly. "Stupid Death Eaters, always doing cold and curl things." You were mumbling now.
"Shhh" Draco rubbed your back in a calming manner.
"Don't shush me!" You yelled at him. Draco looked shocked.
"I didn't mean to upset you more." Draco timidly said. You layed you back back down. "I was just trying to help you calm down."
"I know, I'm sorry." You whispered. "I can't wait to get back to the school." Draco looked at you like you were crazy. "Its the only place I'm free from the stupidities of which I deal with when I'm around the stupid Death Eaters." Draco put an arm around you.
"Well be going back soon." Draco whispered. "We should be getting our school letters soon." He kept talking as you drifted off to sleep.
