You looked at Kathy and Draco confused as they argued. The were calling each other by their first names. They were acting as if they were siblings.

"The two of you are on a first name basis?" You asked stoping the fight. Both of their eyes widened in shock.

"We're..." Draco started but stopped, looking at you then back to Kathy.

"...cousins." Kathy finished, sighing in defeat.

"What?" You asked not believing your ears. "Why didn't either of you tell me?"

"Our families don't acknowledge each other." Kathy stated sheepishly. Draco nodded along.

"So, how are you cousins?" You asked.

"My mom was a Malfoy before she married my father." Kathy said.

"My father never got along with my aunt." Draco said as the train slowed. It was so dark outside it appeared the window were painted black. The train stoped and the luggage from the top racks fell. Draco barley dodged a falling bag. (N/n), who you had let out when you got into the room with kathy sam and Sebastian, hid under the bench. The lamps all went out leaving you in the pitch dark.

"What's going on?" Sebastian asked, finally saying something.

"Don't know." Sam said. You couldn't see anyone it was so dark. You pulled out your wand.

"Lumos!" You called out and the cabin lit up.

"What's that?" Sam pointed at the door. Just on the other side was a shimmering hooded figure peering into your cabin window. It truned and floated into the caparment across the hall; into Potter's cabin. The air got cold. You shuddered from the chiled air. Draco left the cabin to find out what was going on.

All of a sudden you felt weak. Your wand went out and you fell into Kathy, who helped you sit back down. It felt like your happiness was all gone. A light came from Potter's caparment and the thing drifted away. The lights call came back on and the train started moving again.

"What was that all about?" You asked feeling better. The door opended and a man, looking like he was a homeless person, walked in.

"Are all you alright?" He asked, handing you each some chocolate. "Eat this, it will help."

"What was that?" Sebastian asked.

"A dementor from Askaban." The man replied walking back out. You took a bite of the chocolate and felt the wormth flood back into you.

Ten minutes later the train stopped at the station. Draco never did come back. You and the others climbed off the Hogwarts Express and into the horseless carriages. It took off and landed at Hogwarts, which was guarded by those demonstrator things.

"Potter fainted..." You heard Longbottom telling people. You looked back to see if you could spot Draco. You looked around to see him talking to Potter. That wasn't going to be good.

"You fainted, Potter. Is Longbottom telling the truth? You actually fainted?" Draco was at it again. He pushed his way to block Potter from climbing the stone steps to the castle.

"Shuff off, Malfoy." Said Weasley. Draco looked him.

"Did you faint as well, Weasley? Did the scary old dementor frighten you too, Weasley?" Draco went on. You were walking towards them when the man who gave you the chocolate stepped out of a another caridge.

"Is there a problem?" He asked the group.

"Oh. No, professor." Draco smirked at Crabbe and Goyle, who had found their way to him. The three boys truned and headed up to the castle.

"I'll catch up with you in a bit. I have a boyfriend to go yell at." You said to Sam and chased after Draco.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy!" You called after him.

Draco's pov

"Ut oh." Goyle said pulling Crabbe away. Draco froze and slowly truned around.

"You promised me, Draco!" You yelled at him. "You promised you wouldn't be mean this year! You started it on the train and I ignored it, giving you a second chance! But now, you're at it again!" Draco stepped back as you stepped closer. "You promised me." Your voice went back to a normal volume, sounding hurt and disappointed. You truned and walked up the steps.

"You got to make sure she's out of ear shot." Crabbe said walking back up to him. Draco shot him a dirty look, and headed up the steps after you.

Your pov

You met up with your friends in the Great Hall. Sebastian was sitting at the Ravenclaw table with his other Ravenclaw friends. Flitwick was doing the sorting this year, but you weren't really paying any attention.

"Did you give Malfoy a peice of your mind?" Sam asked. You nodded.

"He promised he would be nice this year. That didn't even last a half day." You said saldy. Dumbledore stood and started giving his normal beginning of the year speech. You didn't pay to much attention to him. Something about the dementors at the school being there becuase the ministry put them there for a extra protective layer to the safety of the students. You rolled your eyes and caught Draco watching you. You looked away and went back to talking to Sam. Dumbledore went on about the new professors at the school. The homeless looking man was introduced as Lupin, and Hagrid was now your care of magical creatures professor. After dinner, you fallowed the other Hufflepuffs down to the common room.

The next morning, you spotted Draco in the corridor in front of the Great Hall. He was telling a group of other Slytherins about what happened on the train. Yup, he was back to the jerk version of himself you couldn't stand. You walked right threw the middle of the crowd shooting Draco a dirty look. He wasn't even fased by it.

Later that day you found yourself in Arithmancy with Draco. You were mad at him for breaking the promise he made. He was one of the only Slytherins in your class, so he sat next to you. Sebastian was on the other side of you. Draco received a nasty look from him.

"I'm mad at you." You said to Draco.

"Because I broke a promise to you, I know." Draco replied pulling out his book. You took a deep breath and ignored him, or you tryed to.

"After class, can we talk?" Draco asked pulling his quill out of his bag. You looked at him and nodded.
