Time passed and Draco told you that you and him were expected to be back at the Malfoy Manner for the Easter Holiday.
"We've never gone back for Easter before." You said confused. Draco shrugged his shoulders and it wasn't long before you found yourselves back at the manner. It was quite for the most part. The other Death Eaters were gone. The Malfoy family, Draco's Aunt Bellatrix were the only ones now remaining. where your parents were, you didn't know; not that you were complaining. In fact, you were enjoying your spring break with Draco.
You woke the next morning and saw Draco walking to the weeping willow tree by the pond. Smiling you got dressed and headed out to join him. The pond was no longer frozen over and the birds chirped in the trees around the manner. As you reached the tree you saw Draco sitting in the grass, leaning agents the tree reading something. He was really into the book and didn't notice you walk up to him.
"What are you reading?" You asked, which made him jump.
"Nothing!" He said and closed the book, hiding it beside him.
"Really?" You said sarcastically, sitting down next to him. "It must be a really good book." You pulled his arm up and draped it around you, while you leaned over and rested your head on him.
"Ah... not really." Draco said, sounding like he didn't want to admit it was.
"So, what is Nothing about?" You asked as if it was the name if the book.
"What? No, it's not called Nothing." Draco said.
"Then, what are you reading?" You asked him again calmly.
"The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore by Rita Skitter." Draco admitted.
"Why are you trying to hid it?" You asked.
"Cuz... it's about Dumbledore." Draco replied. "And I..."
"You wanted to know more about the man you were supposed to end." You said. Draco nodded. "So? What does it say about him?"
"He had a squib sister." Draco said. "And his mother kept her a secret and had her locked in the basement. It says that when his brother, Aberforth, left home he continued the imprisonment of his sister." Draco spoke as if he didn't believe it.
"You don't trust it?" You asked. He shook his head.
"It also talks about how he was friends with Gillette Grindelwald, but Grindelwald was a dark wizard. I don't see Dumbledore being friends with a dark wizard." Draco spoke more to himself at this point.
"So, keep reading." You said, yawning. "You might find out why they was friends." Draco pulled the book back up and held it opened with both hands, you entangled in his arms. Draco read in silence for a bit then spoke.
"Listen to this." You looked up at the book.
'Gellert, your point about Wizard dominance being FOR THE MUGGLES' own good-- this, I think, is the crucial point. Yes, we have been given power and yes, that power gives us the right to rule, but it also gives us responsibilities over the ruled. We must stress this point, it will be the foundation stone upon which we build. Where we are opposed, as we surely will be, this must be the basis of all our counterarguments. We seize control FOR THE GREATER GOOD. And from this it follows that where we meet resistance, we must use only the force that is necessary and no more. (This was your mistake at Durmstrang! But I do not complain, because if you had not been expelled, we would never have met.) Albus.' Draco read as you followed along.
"It just proves that Dumbledore and Grindelwald were friends." You said. "Not that Dumbledore was a dark wizard or that he knew or understood that Grindelwald was one." Draco looked down at you. "They were our age, Draco. How are you to know how someone else is going to tune out to be?" Draco closed the book sighing.
"Don't tell anyone I have this book, OK?" Draco said, putting the book down beside him.
"You don't people to know you have a soft side?" You whispered.
"Promise me, (y/n)." He said. You smiled at him.
"I promise I won't tell anyone." You and gave his a quick kiss before laying down, using his lap as a pillow. Silence fell as you watched the white clouds float by. It was such a peaceful and beautiful spring day.
A few days into the vacation, you were laying in your bed. The sky was dark as it was late into the night. You stared out the window at the stars, thinking about how Luna, who was still in the cellar, would love to see the stars too, when you heard noise coming from outside. You got up and went to your window but didn't see anything. Your room faced out the back of the manner. The noise must have come from the front.
"State your purpose." Came an echoing voice. The front gate to the manner was charmed to say that when someone that wasn't a Malfoy walked up to it.
"We've got Potter! We've captured Harry Potter!" A vary happy voice shouted. Curious, you went downstairs. Narcissa was walking out of the front door when you reached the bottom of the stairs. You walked into the drawing room where you found Draco and his father.
"What's going on?" You asked.
"Narcissa went to find out what's going on." Lucius said as you moved across the room to stand next to Draco.
"... Draco is home for his Easter holidays. If that is Harry Potter, he will know." Narcissa said leading a group of people. As they entered the room, you noticed that it was Grayback there werewolf, and two people you didn't know.
"Who are they?" You whispered it to Draco.
"Probably snatchers." he whispered back. Snatches were people who supported Him but were not Death Eaters. They were out capturing Potter supporters.
"What is this?" Lucius said.
"They say they've got Potter." Narcissa said in a cold voice. "Draco come here." She continued. He looked at you for a second before walking down to the group of people tired together, as Grayback turned them under the chandelier. You could see that the group consisted of Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Dean Thomas, a goblin, and what looked like Harry Potter. The boy was stung or something because his face was so badly swollen.
"Well boy?" Grayback snapped.
