"I didn't mean to wake you." Narcissa said as your eyes opened.
"It's ok." You said and looked up at Draco, who was fast asleep. "I was just dozing off."
"You guys are so cute sleeping out here." She said smiling. "You've been out here all night." She looked out the window. Sure enough, the Dark star filled sky was turning into the dark blue morning sky. You sat up.
"It's morning already?" You asked, more to yourself then to her. She nodded.
"I'm going back to bed now." Narcissa said and let the room.
"Draco," you whispered shaking his shoulder. He gave you a small grunt. "It's morning." You informed him, still shaking his shoulder gently. After a minute or so, you finally woke him. You watched the sunrise and spend the day listening to everyone talk about how they can't find Potter. At some point in the week, you heard about how the Ministry got broke into back at the beginning of September.
"But they never did find the intruders." One of the Death Eaters said.
"I'm telling you, it was Potter and his friends." Yaxley said, annoyed. "I fallowed them to their hide out."
"It couldn't have been." The same Death Eater argued. "Weasley is sick at home and the mudblood is off somewhere with her parents." You rolled eyes. They were always arguing over something. You took Draco's hand and pulled him outside, into the snow.
"What are we doing out here?" Draco asked, pulling out his wand. "Accio, coats!" He said casually.
"I don't want to hear the argument." You replied as your coat flew into your hands. You and Draco put them on and started walking through the snow. "Besides, we haven't been able to spend any alone time together since you gave me my necklace." You had put the diamond necklace safely in your jewelry box and was now wearing the two niffler necklaces again. Draco smiled and slipped his hand into yours. You found yourselves under the weeping willow tree by the lake.
"We haven't been here in a while." You said, pushing the snow off the swing.
"No, we haven't been." Draco said, doing the same. You both sat down and looked over the frozen lake, and watched (n/n) trying to walk on the ice. You hadn't seen him in a while. He didn't want to go to school with you this year. When it was time to leave, he hid.
"What is he doing?" Draco asked, perplexed, just as another niffler walked onto the ice with him.
"I think (n/n) has a girl friend." You answered Draco's question, and laid your head on his shoulder. As you watched your niffler and the wild niffler play on the ice, you saw an old hawk-owl flying near.
"Is that Luna's owl?" You asked, sitting up. Draco looked at the sky too and shrugged his shoulders. "I think it is." You continued. "She usually sends me a letter at some point in the summers. But she's never written me over Christmas." You fallowed the owl inside.
"It's from Xenophilius Lovegood again." You heard a Death Eater say.
"What is he offering to trade this time?" Another asked.
"'I have Harry Potter. He's here with his friends. Please give me back my Luna.'" The Death Eater, called Travers, read aloud. You stood just outside the door listening. Did they have Luna?
"Do you think he's telling the truth?" Selwyn, another Death Eater, asked. "Or is it a ploy like all the times before?"
"You better go find out." Lucius interrupted them. After a loud bang, the room fell silent. Draco walked up behind you.
"Did you get your letter?" He asked. You shook your head and walked into the drawing room.
"What did he mean by, 'please give me back my Luna.'?" You asked Lucius, who looked at you with cold eyes. "Where's Luna?" You asked in the same coldness. Draco looked from you to his father.
"What's going on?" Draco asked after a few seconds of the icy stair down.
"Yeah, what is going on?" You asked never taking your eyes off of Draco's father.
"Xenophilius Lovegood was publishing articles," Lucius answered finally. "telling people things that went against our cause."
"So Luna was kidnapped!?" You asked, appalled. Lucius nodded. "Because of something her father did? What is wrong with you people?" Other Death Eaters has entered the room, hearing your voice rise with frustration. "Punish the child for what the parent does?"
"(Y/n), calm down." Draco tried to intervene.
"I will not Draco." You turned to face Draco. "Luna is being held captive because they're mad as her father!" You shouted, pointing at the group that was now in the room. "They punished you for what your father did and it's messed up."
"Enough." The hissing voice of Voldemort said. You flipped around to see him now standing in the door way.
"Yeah, it is enough!" You shouted. "Let Luna go!"
"I can't do that." He hissed. "Not until Xenophilius give me Harry Potter."
"Where is she?" Draco asked calmly and put his hands on your shoulders in the attempt to calm you.
"She's been here all this time." The Death Eater called MacNair spoke. You looked at him.
"Where!?" You asked him annoyed.
"Take her to her friend, MacNair." Voldemort said. He nodded, understanding his orders. You and Draco fallowed after him into a room hidden under the drawing room floor.
The room wasn't as small as you thought it was going to be but it was still a fairly small room. It was dark, only lit with a single glowing orb. A small mattress laid on the floor. Luna was sitting on the floor next to it.
"Luna?" You said and stepped closer to her.
"Oh, hi (y/n)." She said standing up.
"Have they hurt you?" You asked. Luna shook her head.
"I don't care for it here." She said in her normally soft voice. "But no one has hurt me."
"That's good." You said, relieved. You left Draco standing in the small dark room with Luna and MacNair, and claimed back into the drawing room. Voldemort and Lucius were now the only people left in the room.
"She is unharmed." Voldemort said.
"She's my friend!" You said angrily. "If you're going to make her stay here, at least give her a real room."
