The Letters-Summer 3 Chapter 2

"(Y/n), wait up!" Draco called and chased after you, leaving Perkinson in the drawing room alone. You stopped at the door. You turned around to see what he wanted.

"I don't want you to go upset." He said.

"Draco, I'm not upset with you." You said as you walked up to him.

"But you are upset." Draco replied. "You've been upset with me so much, I can tell when something is bothering you." He was right. Perkinson was on your nerves. She was treating Draco like he was a child who needed to be reprimanded.

"Perkinson has gotton under my skin. That's all. You don't have to worrie. I'm waiting on a reply from Kathy, then I will know when I'm leaving. You can send Arrow over, I'm sure Kathy wouldn't mind. She does know hiw I feel about you, after all." You said, as you wrapped your arms around him. "I'll see you later." You pulled him into a tight hug and kissed his cheek. "My Slytherin prince." You let go of him and walked back to the door.

"See you later, my Hufflepuff Princess." Draco whispered as you walked out.

Days passed and Kelly showed back up with a note saying that her mom was going to get you. You wrote to Draco and asked Kelly to drop it off to him before going home. Around five minutes after Kelly left, Arrow showed up.

'Got your note, I'll write you when you send me a note telling me you got there safely. I broke up with Perkinson. She was becoming too clingy. I hope you have loads of fun this summer with my cousin.'

His hand wrighting looked rushed. Just as you finished reading, there was a load cracking noice from downstairs. You went to investigate. Standing in the living room was a lady dressed in a nice white suite.

"You must be (y/n)." The lady said. "I'm Delta. Kathy's mom." You nodded. "Are you all ready to go?"

"Yeah, how are we traveling?" You asked as you looked around. "Please tell me it's not by floo power."

"You and your pet are going to piggyback on my apparatetion. As for your stuff, they are getting shipped the muggle way." Delta smiled, as if this was normal.

"What is apparatetion?" You asked, tilting your head. She explained how it was how you dissapear then reappear somewhere else. You didn't really get it, but it was better than traveling with floo powder. You picked up (n/n) and Delta held out her arm.

"Grab on, and hold on tight." She said. You grabbed her arm, and you felt like you were being spun into a tiny tube. When it all stopped, you were at a large manner. You felt dizzy and nauseous.

"Most people fell ill their first time apperating." Delta said. (N/n) jumped out of your arms and was walking funny. He was dizzy too. You picked your niffler back up and followed Delta inside.

"(Y/n)!" Kathy said excited. She ran up and hugged you, almost knocking you over. "I'm so glad you could come. We're going to have a lot of fun this summer. Fallow me, I'll show you to your room." You trailed after her. "I'll show you around later when you get all settled in." She said.

"Before I get to settled in, I was wondering if I could send Draco a letter." You said as Kathy opended the door to your room. You sat down on the bed and told her everything that happened from the day you first got her note.

"So, my cousin, loves you?" She said teasing you. You nodded.

"I love him too, well the 'kind' version he is in the summer time." You admitted. "But, when I went to tell him how I felt, I was interrupted by Perkinson."

"I don't like her, she's rude." Kathy said sitting on the bed next to you.

"I guess Draco broke up with her." You told her about the note you got from Draco right before her mom showed up.

"I have to admit something." She said. "It was actually Draco's idea that you come here, if you didn't want to go there this summer." You gave her a shocked look. "He was afraid you would stay mad at him, and he didn't want you to feel like you couldn't go any where to get away."

"That's so sweet." You said smiling.

"He really likes you. Kelly is in my room. You can send her to Draco when ever you want." She said, as you fallowed her to her room. Kathy showed you where to find the paper and pens, and you wrote Draco.

'Dear Draco, made it to Kathy's safely. I do not like aperating; neither did (n/n). Kathy says I can send you a letter when ever I like, so I hope you write back. I'll see you when we get on the Hogwarts Express. (Y/n)'

You handed it to Kelly and she flew out the window. Later that night Kathy came into your room.

"You got a letter back." She said handing you an envelope. "What's it say." She said being nosy. You opend it and read it out loud.

'Dear (y/n), I'm glad that you will be able to write me. I was worried that you wouldnt get the chance. Will you be going to the Quidditch World Cup this summer? Father's got us tickets, so we will be there. I will send Arrow over with a package soon, it will be your birthday gift. I have to go pick it up from Diagon Alley. I know its early but that's ok. Hope to hear from you again soon, love Draco.'

"Well that was boring." Kathy said disappointed.

"It's not like I told him how I felt Kathy. When he told me he loved me, I didn't say it back. I just hugged him." You replied blushing.

"But you do, right?" She said sitting on the bed. You nodded and blushed deeper.

"He gets on my nerves, but I do love the jerk. He is just so sweet when it's just him and I." You said, looking out the window. The night sky was so beautiful. You wished Draco was with you too. You kind of wanted him there to see the stars and hold his hand.

"So write him and tell him." Kathy said yanking you from your daydream.

"I can't do that." You said flipping around to face your friend. "If I'm going to tell him I love him, it should be in person." You looked back out the window. "I'll tell him when I see him again." That night you went to bed remembering how Draco told you he loved you. 'You will always be my Hufflepuff Princess. No matter how much we fight, I will always love you.' You heard Draco's voice say in your head.
