You lead Draco, Grabbe, Goyle, Sam and Sebastian to the glass tower later that evening. Draco already knew about the tower, you had shown him a while ago. To the others, this glass tower was new. You could see inside the maze from the tower, were as, from the stands in the stadium, you could only see a small portion. You all watched as the champions run into the maze. First was Harry Potter and Cedric Diggory, they were tied for first place. Second place, and second to go in, was Victor Krum, then last was Fleur Delacour. They all ran around the maze, lost. All the champions had to do, was over come obstacles and reach the cup in the center of the maze. Potter and Cedric seem to be helping one another out. It wasn't long before it looked like Krum attacked Delacour.
"What did he do that for?" You asked the others. They all, but for Sam, looked at you bewildered.
"They're in a competition, aren't they? Krum wants to win." Sebastian answered.
"But... that's just wrong." Sam said to him. "To attract an opponent like that..."
"She's right, I agree with Sam" you nodded along. While you talked, you weren't watching the field.
"He's going to attack Diggory next." Draco said, hushing you all up. You looked down at the maze.
"Potter seems to think he the hero." Goyle blurted out.
"Yeah!" Grabbe agreed, nodding along.
"Well, he did just save Cedric." You said to the two. You watched as Potter saved Cedric, who shot red sparks up. That meant for help to come and rescue them. However, before anyone showed up, Potter and Cedric both had run off, leaving Krum behind, laying on the ground.
"Who do you think will win?" Sebastian asked the group.
"Well, it's a Hogwarts championship, who ever wins." Sam replied. She was right. It didn't matter who won. Hogwarts would win.
"Potter will, he always wins" Draco said, sounding annoyed at the thought, and tilling his eyes. You slipped your hand into Draco's. He looked down at you. "Well, it's true."
"Potter doesn't want the attention he gets, you know." You said. Draco looked back out the large, cylindrical window. "He's famous, sure, but he never asked to be."
"Potter's in trouble now." Grabbe said, interrupting you. You looked out the window to see Potter being held up by a gigantic spider. You all watched as Cedric did what he could to help. Potter hit the ground hard then sent a spell, at the same time Cedric did, at the spider. It toppled over and the two boys just stood there.
"What are they doing?" Grabbe asked, confused.
"I'm willing to bet, the two of them are planning on grabbing the cup together." You said, smiling. And, that's just what they did. Cedric helped Potter walk to the cup. He seemed to have been injured from the fall. The two boys touched the cup, then vanished.
"Where did they go?" You said looking all over the maze, then the rest of the Hogwarts grounds. Your friends all searched around too.
"What happened?" Sam asked, bewildered.
"It must have been a portkey." Draco said, amazed.
"Let's go to the stands. We might find out more from the other students." Sebastian suggested. Him and Sam ran out. Draco looked at you.
"Draco?" You said cautiously. "Do you know where Potter and Cedric are?"
"I don't." Draco said sounding sincere. You gave him an "ok" look and you all headed down to the Quidditch field. You and the three boys joined the other students in the stands just in time for Potter and Cedric to return.
The two lay on their backs on the grass. Potter clinged onto the cup in one hand and to Cedric in the other . Screams could be be heard all around you. People all ran down the stands. You and your friends fallowed suite. What had happened?
