The summer was coming to an end. You still had not seen Arrow nor Draco. As you laid in your bed one night, you stared out your window thinking about what was going on with your neighbors. You came up the idea that maybe Draco was working on that secret project his father had him on, and that's why you didn't get the chance to speak with him all summer long.

When you went to Diagon Alley with your parents this time, you sought out to find Draco. He would surely be there too. He did, after all, have to get school supplies also. It wasn't long before you spotted Draco with his father. They were walking out of a dark alley with a sign above it that read Nocturne Alley. Just as you went to speak with Draco, you were pulled back by you father. You spent the next hour buying the things you needed to pick up.

"Go pick up your books." Mr. Malfoy told his son. "I'll be right over." Draco walked off and right into the book shop, Flourish and Blotts. You followed him inside trying to catch up to him. There was a long line of people standing to see someone named Gilderoy Lockhart. He was one of the authors of the text books you needed to get. He seemed to full of himself, yet people flocked to him. You walked passed them all like they were all mad.

You were looking at a few books, when a man with a camera practically knocked you over. You regained your balance and walked away, giving the man a dirty look. 'That was rude.' You thought to yourself.

You looked around because you seemed to have lost tract of the Draco. Harry Potter just then had been pulled to the front of the line and was flung up with Lockhart. You looked up to notice Draco standing on the balcony above everyone. He was watching the commotions going on below, with a look one could only describe as disgust mixed with jealousy. Lockhart was saying something about him teaching Deface Ageist The Dark Arks class, you weren't paying to much attention to him. You were watching Draco who was finding his was down to Potter and his friends.

"Bet you loved that, didn't you Potter. Famous Harry Potter, can't even go into a book shop without making the front page." Draco was cold; although, you did understood why. Potter did always get all the addiction, even it was unwanted. It wasn't like Potter liked it or asked for it, but he still got it. Draco started in on Weasely, telling him that his parents would have to go hungry to pay for everything. Why did he have to be such a jerk to people? Just about then, Mr. Malfoy put his hand on his sons shoulder. And at the same time, Mr. Weasly was telling the kids to go outside because it was too crowed inside. He was right. There were way too many people in the shop. You went to pay for books while the adults spoke to one another. Then all of a sudden the two men were fist fighting. Things were falling off shelf. Screams for them to stop could be heard, and out of no where came Hagrid, who pulled the two apart. Mr. Malfoy threw a book back at the youngest Weasly, before him and Draco walked out of the shop.

"You should have ignored him, Auther. Rotten to the core, the whole family. Everyone knows that. No Malfoy's worth listin' to. Bad blood, that's what it is. Come on now, lets get out of here." Hagrid said before the group walked out the door. He was wrong though. Not all the Malfoys were bad people. Draco was a bully sure, but he had a kinder side to him. You had seen it for yourself. You left the shop holding all your books, and saw Draco and his father walking down the street. You chased after them and were able catch up and tap Draco on the shoulder. He turned to see you and pulled you around the corner, out of sight.

"What are you doing?" Draco was angry that you got that close to him with his father right there. "Do you have any idea..." Draco stopped talking because you had warped your arms around him in a hug, dropping your books.

"I was so worried about you all summer." You said pulling away. "What happened? Why didn't I hear from you or see you after we got home?" Draco looked away sadly while he told you that his father found out he was over at your house. Mr. Malfoy found the letter you wrote Draco when you were in America. That moron had taken it home. He had been grounded. Draco's father refused to let his son out of his sight. And what made it worse, was Arrow had been taken away, so no letters could be sent over or anywhere else for that matter.

You stood there, flabbergasted, as Draco told you what had happened. You found it all a little harsh. Mr. Malfoy had cut his own son off from the world. Cut him off from his others friends, friends that he liked and welcomed into his home. How could one person be so heartless? Yeah, ok, cut him off from the muggle-born next door. Mr. Malfoy did hate people like you, but don't be so curl as to cut Draco off from all of his friends. That was going too far in your opinion.

You told Draco you had something to tell him about the summer in America. He helped you gather your books up, and the two of you went off on your own finding your way into a candy shop. You told him how you had found Slytherin robes amongst your aunt's things. Draco almost dropped the chocolate frog he was holding.

"I think your family is hiding something from you." Draco said, putting the frog back on the shelf.

"I think so too, but I don't want them to know I know anything yet." You replied while looking at the many candy choices in the shop. You wanted to get some but couldn't. Your parents had the money, not you.

"You want something?" Draco said noticing you staring at the Fizzing Whizbees. You smiled at him.

"Yeah, but it's ok. I'll just come back later." You said walking back out of the shop. You thought Draco was right behind you, but when you turned around he was handing a man some coins. Draco walked out and handed you the candy you were looking at.

"I better get back to my father before he finds me with you." He said smiling before walking away.
