The next day, you woke to find signs posted all over the school. At first you thought they were another decree, but it was a notice telling the staff and students that Umbridge was now the new Headmaster of Hogwarts.

"What happened of Dumbledore?" You asked, after reading one of the signs

"What happened of Dumbledore?" You asked, after reading one of the signs. You soon found out at breakfast. The Daily Prophet had a short article talking about how Dumbledore had confessed to secretly  building an army of students to over throw the ministry. He had escaped  capture the night before, overcoming two Arours, the High Inquisitor, the Minister of Magic, and his Junior Assistant. Not much more was said then that. You looked up to see the Hufflepuff ghost, the Fat Friar.

"Umbridge tried to get back into Dumbledore's office last night after they'd searched the castle and grounds for him. She couldn't get passed the gargoyle. The Head's office has sealed itself against her. She threw such a tantrum." He was telling a few of the other students.

Later that day you heard a fellow Hufflepuff, Ernie Macmillan, telling Potter, Weasley and Granger on your way back to the school from Hurbology.

"O, I expect she really fancied herself sitting up there in the Head's office." Granger said. "Lording it over all the other teachers, the stupid puffed-up, poer-crazy old..."

"Now, do you really want to finish that sentence, Granger?" Draco said, as he, Crabbe and Goyle steped in front of the four of them. You were still upset with Draco. He had helped Umbridge brake up the D.A. meeting. "Afraid I'm going to have to do a few points from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff." You shot him a dirty look, but he must not have noticed you.

"You can't take points from fellow prefects, Malfoy. Ernie snapped.

"I know prefects can't dock points from each other, but members of the Inquisitorial Squad..." Draco said coldly.

"The what?" Granger asked, cutting him off. Draco smiled an evil smile and repeated himself.

"A select group of students who are supportive of the Ministry of Magic, handpicked by Professor Umbridge. Anyway, members of the Inquisitorial Squad do have the power to doc points...so, Granger, I'll have five points from you for being rude about our new headmistress...Macmillan, five for contradicting me... five because I don't like you, Potter...Weasley, your shirt's untucked, so I'll have another five for that...oh Yeah, I forgot, you're a Mudblood, Granger, so ten for that." Draco said sneering at them all. Your eyes narrowed. You wanted to hid him, he was back to being the bully you couldn't stand. Weasley pulled out is wand but Granger stoped him. You were so angry with Draco, you walked away. Once Draco left the group to fallowed after him and his friends.

"Draco Lucius Malfoy!" You yelled all three of his named, sounding like the world would have stoped moving from near fear. Draco did stop, so did Crabbe and Goyle. "You foul..." you couldn't get the words out you were so angry with him. You walked upto him and slapped him across the face and stormed off, holding back tears.

Draco's pov

"Did she really just slap you?" Crabbe asked. Draco didn't know what to say. What had you so upset with him?

"You alright?" Gyole asked, waving a hand in Draco's face. The two boys shrugged their shoulders, looking at each other.

"Go on ahead, I'll catch up later." Draco finally spoke. He headed off in the direction you went. "I think I need to fix something." He mumbled.

Your pov

Draco found you sitting, in grass under a tree, in the courtyard. It was lunch time, but you weren't feeling hungry anymore.

"(Y/n)?" Draco said consciously, as he slowly walked up to you.

"I am so pissed off at you, Draco Malfoy." You said coldly. "How could you be so cold?"

"What did I do?" Draco sat down beside you. You got up.

"What did you do?!" You spat. "Think back. What did you just do?" You started walking.

"Are you upset because I took points from Potter and his freinds?" Draco asked innocently. You flipped back around and marched back up to him. Your face only inches from his.

"You did it because you mearly could." You yelled in his face and pulled back. "Please tell me, did you tell Umbridge about the D.A.?"

"NO!" Draco said instantly. "I would never put you in that kind of position." You weren't sure if you could believe him or not.

"Then why help her!? And what is this Inquisitorial Squad thing? Why didn't you bother to tell me? You know how much I dislike that woman!" You didn't give Draco time to answer before you ran off, crying. You were walking back to the Great Hall, when you heard a loud boom. You walked in to see fireworks going off in all directions. You slid behind a tapestry to hid and found the Weasley twins hidding there too. They were laughing, and didn't seem to notice you there.

"Hurry, Filtch, hurry! They'll be all over the school unless we so something!" You heard Umbridge yell over students screams. "Stupefy!" The twins started laughing again. After a few minutes, Potter had joined you and the twins.

"Impressive, very impressive..." Potter said quietly. "You'll put Dr. Filibuster out of business, no problem..."

"Cheers" George said wiping his laughter tears away.

"Oh, I hope she tries Vanishing them next... they multiply by ten evey time you try..." said fred, laughing too. Once the fireworks had died down. You slipped out from behind the tapestry and joined the rest of the students. Draco was standing there stunned by the show. He looked as if one of the fireworks had gone after him. You smirked at him thinking he got what he diserved. The rest of the day was filled with fireworks flying all over the school. They weren't like any firework you had seen before. These once seem to last a long time. Teachers were calling for Umbridge to safe their classrooms. She was sunning all over the school. And by bedtime, the fireworks were still running a muck threw the school and the grounds.
