"Doesn't it bother you that ten Death Eaters are out of Azkaban?" You asked Draco. He smiled. "It's not funny Draco!" You said, annoyed and pulled your hand away.

"They won't harm you." Draco said softly.

"But they will hurt Sam!" You spat. "She's my best friend, Draco."

"Then she better stay far away from them, shouldn't she." Draco said coldly. You gave him a look you hadn't given him in years.

"That's a cold look." Draco said slowly, sounding taken a back.

"Well, you deserve it." You replied, still giving him the same cold look.

"You do know, (y/n), that I won't let them harm you." Draco tryed to explain. You eyes soften a little. "That means, if I have to protect your muggle-born friends," Draco winced "to make you happy, I'll do it."

"You will?" You asked, not sure if he ment it.

"I will." You hugged him, nearly nocking him off the couch. "I will, because I love you, my Hufflepuff Princess." You let go of him and sat up.

"Who's Bellatrix Lestrange?" You asked after a minute.

"My aunt." Draco said. "She's my mom's sister." You looked down at the ground. "She's not going to hurt you."

"I know" you said looking back at Draco. "I thought she looked familiar, that's all."

"She looks a little like mom," Draco said smiling. "My other aunt looks like her too, except for mom has blond hair while the others have dark hair." Draco rambled on. You weren't use to him rambling.

"You're mom has another sister?" You asked, realizing what he had said.

"Yeah, but we don't talk about her." You looked at him confused. "She married a mudblood..." Draco looked at you with a 'oops' expression. "I mean."

"It's ok." You said, smiling at him. "It's enough that you stoped calling Sam that."

"Anyways, Aunt Andromeda married a muggle-born named Ted Tonks. Because of that, my family doesn't speak of her." Draco explained.

"That's not right." You said disappointed in all of the pureblood lines.

"Well, that's how they were raised. That's how I'm being raised." Draco said in the same disappointed tone.

"Yeah but..." You layed your head on his shoulder. "You're not like them, my Slytherin Prince."

"I'm not?"

"Nope, you're too sweet. You're kind, even if you try to hid it from the world, I can see your soft side." You hugged Draco around the middle. "You're my Slytherin Prince, and I love you, and your soft side."

A few days later, during your Care Magical Creatures class, you noticed Hagrid had only been showing you things like crups, which looked just like Jack Russells except for their forked tail. Classes were still being monitored by Umbridge, which made Hagrid very nervous.

"This is so boring." Draco whined, while brushing the dog like creature.

"Well, if you weren't always so hard on Hagrid, he would have more interesting creatures for us." You whispered to him. "Besides, I find this relaxing." You said brushing your own crup. "I wouldn't mind having one as a pet." Draco shot you a disproving look, which made you smile.

During the D.A. meeting later that day, you noticed that everyone was working harder. Even Neville Longbottom, a Gryffindor student who wasn't all that good at magic, was improving at an alarming rate. He was getting so good at the spells that he was now catching up to Harmony Granger. Infact, when Potter taught the D.A. class the shield charm, Protego, only Granger mastered the spell before Longbottom.

You met up with Draco in the star room after the D.A. meeting, for another Occlumency lesson. You had been getting better at it, but Draco was still entering your mind every time.

"Legilimens!" Draco casted his spell and was in your head again. You watched your memories fly by. A three year old Draco and you were sitting under the willow tree holding hands. Then a new memory took its place. You were in the woods with your brother, Adam. The firepit was a blaze just outside your aunt's cabin.

"Stop!" A voice said in your mind. "I don't want to relive the loss of my brother again." You felt your hand, which held your wand, go up.

"Protego!" You shouted. Memories, you could only assume were Draco's, filled your thoughts. Draco was around five, while he hid in his fireplace. An eleven year old Draco was sitting on your bed holding (n/n). A teenage Draco layed in the Slytherin common room, as Perkinson walked up to him. You felt yourself hit the ground after a bit. You opened your eyes and saw Draco on the ground too.

"Are you ok?" You asked him. He nodded.

"I didn't expect you to use a shield charm. I guess it worked." Draco said surprised. "Where did you learn that? We've read about them."

"The D.A." You said, smiling. "Want me to teach it to you?"

"Later." Draco said, a little annoyed.

"Why were you hidding in your fireplace?" You asked him.

"I was hiding from Perkinson." He answered. "She's always been after me." You smiled at him.

"And the time you were laying on the Slytherin couch?" You asked.

"That was just last year, just before the ball." Draco told you how he was feeling like an idiot for being so mad at you fo so long, and how he wanted to ask you to go to the Yule Ball, but was afraid you would tell him no.

"You are an idiot." You said smiling. "But in the end, I ended up there with you anyways, didn't I?" You both smiled and got off the floor.

"I think our lesson is over for tonight." Draco said sweetly. "I have to go on patrol tonight. So, I better get going."

"Will you walk me to the Hufflepuff house first?" You asked, wrapping you arm around his. He didn't say anything but nodded his head and lead you out.

"I can't wait for the Hogsmeade trip." You whispered sleepily, while you walked.

"Me neither." Draco said, as you reached the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room. He gave you a kiss good night and let you go. You slipped into the common room and upstairs to you dorm room. You moved your niffler, who was sleeping in the middle of the bed, and slid under the covers. You drifted off to sleep, while thinking about the trip to Hogsmeade that was sure to be soon.
