"I do remember." Draco said putting his arm around you. "Seaven years ago, I set on this train telling you that you needed to keep the secret of being a muggle-born." Draco let out a small laugh. "Truned out that wasn't a problem, was it?"

"Nope." You mumbled and closed your eyes. "I ended up falling asleep and you woke me when we arrived."

"Yup. But I didn't mind at all." Draco said softly.

"If I remember right, I feel asleep on you, using you as a pillow." You said looking up at him.

"Well, actually..." Draco said then paused while looking out the window. "You fell asleep on the window." He looked down at you. "When the others weren't looking, I pulled you over to use me as a pillow." Draco was a little pink in the face. You sat up.

"I see." You said smiling at him. Draco smiled back and kissed you. "What was that for?"

"Most of last year I ignored you." Draco said, keeping his eye contact. "If I'm not mistaken, I promised in our 4th year, I wouldn't ignore you."

"But you didn't ignore me." You said confused.

"Not in the since that I spoke to you, but I ignored our relationship. That's practically the same thing." Draco explained. "You stuck with me, was patient with me and put up with me in my darkest time. How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?" You smiled.

"I told you. My loyalties lie with you." You said grinning. You rested your head on his shoulder and the carpartment fell silent again. As the sky grew dark, Draco spoke.

"I just realized something." He said, straddling you. You looked up at him. "Sam is on the train." You sat up looking at him like had lost his kind. That was obvious.  She had come to see you at the beginning of the ride. "She's muggle born." Draco stated the obvious again speaking as if you didn't already know. You kept giving him the same puzzled look. "Remember? The Ministry was taken over a few days after the attack on Potter."

"No. For one, I didn't know anything about the attack because  I was focused on searching for why Salazar Slytherin cursed someone." You replied, a little annoyed that Draco had forgotten that. "And for second," you want on before he could respond to you. "I haven't kept up with the newspapers."

"Oh, well..." Draco said, thinking, "that makes sense." He looked taken aback then went on. "Ok so the Ministry put of a degree of sorts." Draco spoke with hesitation. You gave him a look the said 'keep going.' "It was for muggle borns. I didn't read the whole thing." He said as a side note but went on. "Something about muggle-borns stilling thematic from pure bloods I think. They wanted to make all muggle-borns prove that the didn't still the magic."

"What?" You said appalled, while sitting up.

"Yeah." Draco went on. "But that doesn't even make sence. If magical ability could be stolen like that, we wouldn't have squibs. Infact, I doubt there would me muggles to begin with." He was talking to the window now.

"I'll talk to Sam later on." You said as the train pulled into the Hogsmead station. "See what's going on." Draco nodded and the room of you got ready to leave for the school.

"So, did you hear about Snape?" Draco asked while you rode the carge pulled by the thestrals. Crabb, Gyole and Zabini were in the carge with you and Draco now.

"He's headmaster. Why?" Zabini said.

"He's what?" You asked amazed that he had the nerve after murdering Dumbledore at the end of last term.

"Headmaster." Crabb said slowly.

"I heard him the first time Crabb. Thank you." You said to him annoyed. "Well, I guess we did need a new headmaster with Dumbledore gone now."

"Yeah," Goyle said quietly.

"I wonder who actually killed Dumbledore." Zabini said Ina wondering tone. "Potter was seen runny from the tower After he was killed, but I don't see him doing the job. Potter is too weak for that."

"You don't think potter is capable of murder?" Crabb asked Zabini.

"Not when it's his idol." Zabini answered. Everyone nodded in agreement. Potter did idolize Dumbledore after all.

"In any case," Draco said. "Hes gone and the Dark Lord is happy about it."

"We almost to the school." You said, noticing the the tall towers agents the dark night skyline. "And we don't want to be caught talking about him." You said looking at Draco, who nodded.

"Then we should change the subject before we land." Goyle spoke.

"Well, duh." You said annoyed at his stupidity. The thestral pulling you guys along, landed a few moments later and you all climbed out. It was then that you noticed the small amount of students that was there. You said bye to Draco and joined Sam and the other Hufflepuffs on your walk into the school. As you took your seat in the Great Hall,  you noticed that Snape was sitting in the headmasters spot at the staff table. It was true then. Snape really was going to be the head of the school. It wasn't long before the first years walked through the doors and was sorted. There wasn't as many as years before. Probably because of the Dark times among the Wizarding world.

"Parents must be scared to let their children leave home." Sam said from beside you. You nodded. "With You-Know-Who running free and the Ministry under his control, I don't blame them."

"Alright!" Snape said after the sorting was over. "A few new things!" The hall fell silent.  "As you can see I am your new Headmaster." The students started whispering. "SILANCE!"Snape yelled over the crowd. "Professor Slughorn is the new head of Slytherin house." Many of the Slytherins looked around at each other. "All students will take a new class taught by Amycus Carrow where you will lean the Dark arts. Defense against the dark arts is gone. And finally, Alecto Carrow will be teaching Muggle studies." You looked around the Great Hall. The Carrow Brothers were Death Eaters. How was this a good idea? "You are now dismissed." Snape said, sitting back down. You fallowed the rest the students out and upto your dorm room.

"It's going to be a long year." Sam said climbing into bed. You nodded and did the same.
