A week had gone by, and the Saterday fallowing the long week, was another Quidditch match; Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor. It didn't last long, lasting only 22 minutes. The Slytherins were singing 'Weasley is our King' again, making Ron so frustrated, he missed blocking the quaffle 14 times. It was a close win for Hufflepuff though. Only ten points above Gryffindor; 240 to 230. It was horrible to watch.
Draco was eating breakfast when you walked into the Great Hall the next morning. You walked over and joined him at the Slytherin table.
"Good morning my Hufflepuff Princess." Draco said joyfuly, handing you his toast.
"I was thinking about last weekend," you said seriously.
"Yeah? What about it?" Draco asked curiously.
"The lack of Dementors," You said as Draco and his friends all looked up at you. "Back in our third year, when Serious Black escaped, there where Dementors everywhere. Now that there are ten Death Eaters out, runny a muck, there's not a single Dementor in sight." You said.
"You do know why, don't you?" Perkinson asked, you in her normal curl voice.
"The Dark Lord has them on his side now." Draco whispered.
"But, then what's stopping the other prisoners from escaping?" You asked sounding concerned.
"Who knows." Draco shuddered his shoulders. When you gave him a worried look he said, "Don't fret, I won't let any of them harm you, or your friends." Draco wrapped his arm around you and pulled you into a sideways hug.
You spent the rest of sunday with Sam and Sebastian studying, and on Monday morning you awaited the morning mail along with the rest of the students. You had taken out a subscription to The Daily Prophet, because you were tired of having to ask to read someone else's paper. However, all the paper said was that there had been sightings of the ten escaped Death Eaters, none of which had been captured.
"Potter's in the Quibbler!" Sam said, making you jump. The Quibbler was a magazine with a collection of unusual articles. Sam enjoyed reading many of the articles published in the magazine. It was Sebastian who got her reading the book in the first place. It was his uncle, Luna Lovegood's dad, who was the editor of the Quibbler.
"He's talking about that night of Cedric's death." Sam said after a minute of reading.
"Probably trying to get people to believe him." You said, and leaned in to read. In big, bright, red letter, the title of the article read:
'HARRY POTTER SPEAKS OUT AT LAST: THE TRUTH ABOUT HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED AND THE NIGHT I SAW HIM RETURN'
"He names the fathers of Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, and Nott, as Death Eaters. He Claims he saw them all come to the side of He-Who-Nust-Not-Be-Named." Sam recapped.
"Nott?" You weren't sure who that was.
"Theodor Nott, he's another Slytherin." Sam said looking up. You looked over to see Draco talking amongst his group. He wouldn't know about this article yet, as he didn't bother reading the Quibbler. You noticed the Gryffindor table, which had loads of owls sitting in front of Potter. The Weasley twins along with their brother, Ron, and Hermione, were all opening letter after letter. You were watching them, when you Umbridge approached them. You couldn't really hear what was being said, but you figured Potter told her about the article because he threw the Quibbler at her.
"Do you believe He-Who-Not-Be-Named is back?" Sam asked, pulling your attention back to her. You took a deep breath and slowly nodded. "Do you believe that Draco's dad really is a Death Eater?" She asked, and again, you slowly nodded.
