The time seemed to tick by slowly. Sam had told you what her and Draco spoke about in the court yard, and how Draco had said he was an idiot. But as the days ticked by he still hadn't spoke to you, not even in class. You were thinking about all this on the night before the quidditch match. Hufflepuff would be playing agents Gryffindor, who would win. They usely did. As you laid in your bed, you felt like you had butterflies in your stumic.
"You look pale." Sam said. You sat up.
"I'm not feeling that good." You admitted. "It's just stress." You tried to reassure Sam. "I'm under a lot."
"Draco?" Sam asked. You nodded. You wanted to tell her everything but you couldn't. Not only would she be angry and not want to be your friend anymore, but she would most definitely tell the teachers. You couldn't have her do that. Draco would suffer more then just expulsion. Voldemort would kill him.
"(Y/n)?" Sam pulled you back to realty. "You spaced out there for a moment. Maybe you should go see Madame Pomfrey." You nodded.
"Yeah, you're probably right." You agreed. "If noting else, she can give me something for my nerves, right?" Sam nodded and walked you up to the hospital wing.
"Oh deer," Madame Pomfrey said when she felt your forehead. "You're burning up." She had to sit down on one of the beds in the back and gave you something that was like a pruple slime. "Drink up, you'll be all better soon." She said as you looked at the mixture with disgust.
"What is this?" You asked. "It smells awful."
"A medicine to help bring your fever down." Madame Pomfrey replied. You held your nose shut and drank the mixture. Surprisingly, it didn't taste too bad.
"Now sleep. Your fever will go down soon and you'll be out of here in a few days."
"You'll miss the quidditch match." Sam said, disappointed.
"I know how it's going to end." You smiled. "Gryffindor wins and we lose. They usely win agents us." You said as you laid down. Sam said her fair wells and set off back to the Hufflepuff dorm room.
The next morning, you woke to the sound of Potter's voice speaking to his friend who was still in the hospital wing.
"I've told you, he could be world-class and I wouldn't want to keep him..." Potter was saying, as you sat up. He kept talking but you were too distracted watching the people outside. Students were finding their seats to watch the match.
"Right. Well, good luck. Hope you hammer McLag- I mean, Smith." Weasley said. You looked over at the two.
'Guess they didn't realize I was over here.' You thought.
"I'll try. See you after the match." Potter said with his broom over his shoulder. You looked back out the window. After about fifteen minutes, the match started.
"And that's Smith of Hufflepuff with the Quaffle. He did the commentary last time, of course, and Ginny Weasley flew into him, I think probably on purpose..." Luna Lovegoods voice filled the statum. It was fant but you could still hear everything. "...it looked like it. Smith was being quite rude about Gryffindor, I expect he regrets that now he's playing them - Oh, look, he's lost thw Quaffle, Ginny took it from him, I do like her, she's very nice." Luna continued on and on. You layer back down and was driving back to sleep when you heard Luna say "...Harry Potter's now having an augment with his keeper." You sat up and looked back out the window. He was indeed having an argument thw his keeper. The Slytherins and Hufflepuffs cheered as this helped the Hufflepuff team.
"We might actually win this time." You said to yourself and layer back down.
"Seventy-fourty to Hufflepuff " McGonagall's voice said over the statum. You smiled as Luna continued on.
"Is it already? Oh, look! The Gryffindor keeper's got hold of one of the Beeter's bats."
'I feel bad for Potter' You thought. He was complaining about his keeper before the match. It wasn't long after that you heard Luna again.
"Oh no." She said with fear in her voice. "Gryffindor keeper has hit Harry Potter insteadof the Blunger." A few minutes later, Potter was being brought into the infirmary. You laid back down because you were unable to help in any way.
A few hours later you woke again to voices talking.
"Ginny came in to visit while you were unconscious." Weasley said. "She reckons you only just arrived on time for the match. How come? You left early enough." You laid still, listening carefully. Potter did leave way before the match started so why did he arrive late?
"Oh, yeah, well, I saw Malfoy sneaking off with a couple of girls who didn't look like they wanted to be with hi., and that's the second time he's made sure he isn't down on the Quidditch pitch with thw rest of the school; he skipped thw last mitch too, remember?" Pottwr sighed. "Wish I'd followed him now, the match was such a fiasco."
"Don't be stupid," Weasley snapped. "You couldn't have missed Quidditch match just to follow Malfoy, you're thw Captain!"
"I want to know what he's up to, and do t tell me it's all in my head, not after what I overheard between him and Snape." Potter replied.
'What did Draco and Snape talk about?' You thought to yourself.
"I never said it was all in your head," Weasley said "but there's no rule saying only one person at a time can be plotting anything in this place! You're getting ga bit obsessed with Malfoy, Harry. I mean, thinking about missing missing a match just follow him..."
"I want to catch him at it! I mean, where's he going when he disappeared off the map?" Potter asked in frustration.
'Map? What map?' Your brain asked you.
"I dunno...Hogsmeade?" Weasley said yawning.
"I've never see. Him going along any of the secret passageways on the map. I thought they were being watched now anyway?" Potter said.
"Well then, I dunno." Weasley said before the room fell silent.
You laid there for awhile thinking about this "map" this Potter was talking about and how Potter was onto Draco. He knew that Draco was doing something.
'I'll tell Draco when I see him.' You said in your head before driving off to sleep and was woken up with a loud cracking sound. You sat up and saw two house elfs rolling around on the floor.
"I must be dreaming." You said because as you watched Potter and Weasley watch the two elfs, you couldn't hear them. They were only a few beds away; you should have been able to hear them. You laid back down and went back to sleep.
