The first few days of summer went by slowly. You and Draco had nothing better to do, so the two of you finished all the summer homework you had.

Now, half way though July, you and Draco were laying in the grass in the side yard. The summer day was filled with the scolding summer heat, which you beat by swimming in the lake
and now you were relaxing while looking up at the stars in silence. It wasn't long before you heard Draco lightly snoring. You sat up and sure enough, he was out. You smiled at him before deciding to wake him.

"Draco, you should go up to bed." You said softly and shook his shoulder. He rolled over, but remained sleeping. You tryed waking him again and again, until he finaly opened his eyes. He wasn't an easy one to wake up, when he was truly out. Once he was awake, he sat up. You told him he should go to his bed and he agreed. The two of you walked over to the manner and almost walked into Narcissa as you opend the door to go in.

"I was just going out to get you, Draco." She said. "The Dark Lord is here and would like to speak to you." Draco looked at you with a worried look.

"What does he want?" You asked innocently.

"He said he was going to find a new punishment. Well, he did." She replied, turning her attention to you. "He has also asked that only a few select Death Eaters attend this meeting, along with me."

"What? Why?" You demanded.

"I don't qustion him. Now please, just go to bed." Narcissa answered. You looked at her with worry. If you hadn't stepped in last time Voldemort was going punish Draco, he would be a werewolf right now. "I know what you're thinking. He's not going to hurt Draco." Narcissa said and you reluctantly went up stairs. You didn't stay there for long however. After a few minutes you went back down stairs. You tried to open the door to the drawing room to no avail, it was locked.

"If only I could do magic out side of school." You mumbled and sat down on the floor. You tried to hear what was going on by pressing your ear to the door.

"Hear anything?" A fermiller voice asked. You looked up to see Dameon standing next to you. You didn't respond and pressed your ear to the door again. You couldn't hear anything, but you did it anyways.

"Do you know what they are doing?" He asked as he sat on the floor with you. You sat up and gave him a 'go away' look.

"I don't know either." Dameon sighed. "My father said I wasn't allowed in this meeting. 'It's for Death Eaters only' he said." Dameon said in a mocking tone.

"You're not a Death Eater?" You asked surprised. He shoock his head no. "Wow, I thought for sure you would have become one."

"Don't get me wrong, I want to be one. But apparently, I don't have what it takes." He said sounding annoyed. "I mean, come on, that pathetic Peter Pettigrew is one." He said, looking disgusted.

"Wait," you said interrupting him. Dameon looked taken aback. "The meeting in this room, is for Death Eaters only." You said, remembering that, that's what Narcissa had said earlier. Dameon nodded, and went on rambling about how he wanted to be one of them. You didn't listen, however. You were thinking.

'Draco is in this room, but he's not a Death Eater.' You stood up and placed both hands on the door. 'Neither is his mom, well, not that I know of. What are they doing in there.'

"What are you doing?" Dameon asked from the floor.

"I want in this room." You said sounding worried. "Draco's in there."

"Ha, Malfoy? He's weaker than I am. He's not in there." Dameon laughed. You shot him a dirty look.

"Now now, calm down." He said.

"Draco is not weak!" You growled and looked back at the door. After a few seconds, the door opened.

"I thought you would be out here." Narcissa said, stepping out and shutting the door behind her.

"Is Draco ok? What did he do to him?" You asked frantically.

"Draco is fine, now you should go to bed. You can talk to him in the morning." Narcissa said calmly, but her eyes told you a different story. She looked at Dameon, who was still on the floor. "You should go to bed too." You nodded and headed off to your room. You crawled into bed and layed there. Draco would soon be heading to his room soon. You could go talk to him then. But, somewhere between getting into bed and the morning sun rising, you fell asleep.

You woke to the wormth of the summer sun filling your room. You were laying on your right side, facing the window and could feel an arm around your waist. You rolled over to find Draco sound asleep next to you. You smiled and snuggled into his chest.

"Good morning, my Hufflepuff Princess." Draco whispered.

"Morning." You whispered back without moving. Draco kissed the top of your head. You looked up at him. "What happened last night?" You asked, worried that Voldemort had hurt him.

"I'm ok, but I can't talk about what happened." Draco said, sounding disappointed.

"Why not?" You asked with fear in your voice and sat up.

"Because I can't. Please, don't make it worse for me." He begged and looked down.

"Alright, I'll drop it. But that doesn't mean I'm not worried about it." You said and layed back down in his arms.

"There is something I should tell you." Draco said a minute later. You looked up. "Please, don't get mad at me ok, I didn't ask for it."

"O...k?" You said, not sure what he was going on about.

"And promise me you won't tell anyone. It'll get me into trouble if he finds out that you discovered this secret." Draco said. You nodded and
Draco pulled his left arm around in front of you, and you saw it, the mark of a Death Eater.
