You opened Draco's door without knocking and walked in to see him curled up on his bed. He didn't move as you walked closer. You lifed the blanket and crawled into the bed with him.

"Draco," you spoke quietly.

"I don't know what will he's going to do." He whispered, "and... I'm scard."

"I don't know either." You whispered back. He draped his arm around you and pulled you into him.

"What happend Draco?" You asked.

"I got to the tower where the other Death Eaters set the mark off. Dumbledore was there. I disarmed him." Draco said almost as if he was in a trance. "But..." Draco sat up, coming out of it and looked right at you. "I couldn't do it. I couldn't kill him." You sat up too. "When it came down to it, I couldn't go through with it. I heard you I'm my thoughts reminding me that murder changes a person. I don't want to change into a murder. I want to stay me. But now..."

"I know it was Snape that did the job." You said calmly. Draco gave you a look of befuddlement. "Potter saw the whole thing. He was under the Invisibility Cloak. I guess Dumbledore had used a spell so he couldn't do anything. He told all his friends at the hospital wing while I was sitting on the bed on the other end of the room. When I heard him telling the story of what happened, I thought something had stopped you."

"So, everyone knows how weak I truly am." Draco saif annoyed and looked down.

"You're not weak, Draco. It takes more strength to hold back." You said. "What happened before last night's events?" You asked.

"You were there." Draco looked at you, confused.

"I mean, the coin you had. You said you would explain." You reminded him.

"Oh...right." Draco said looking away. "The coin... that was an idea I got from the coin you had last year... for that D.A. thing."

"Who had the other one?" You asked.

"Rosemarta." He said then returned his eyes to yours.

"The bar keep?" You asked a little shocked.

"Yeah. She was the one I was communicating with. She gave the necklace to Bell. She also poisoned the mead that was almost killed Weasley." Draco looked out the window behind him. "She did it all under my orders but it was my mother who put her under the Imperius Curse." He admitted. "He looked back at you. I couldn't have done that part because well, I'm still under age. So, I asked my mother to do it. She Apparated over, did the curse, told her to obey me, then came home before anyone knew she had gone."

"And the necklace? How did she get a hold of that?" You asked, still trying to understand how he had managed to pull all that off without you noticing.

"A few days before the Hogsmead trip, she picked it up from Borgin and Burkes. And the mead was poisoned because it was ment to be a Christmas gift to Dumbledore. Slughorn had ordered it for Dumbledore. But that moron didn't deliver it but kept it for himself." He got annoyed at that last thought.

"So you didn't actually do anything yourself?" You asked, but answered your own question before Draco could. "You had someone doing it for you." You said calmly. Draco nodded, still looking out his bedroom window.

"See, weak. I was too weak to do any of that myself." He said before laying back down.

"Weak? No Draco, brilliant." The words comming out of your mouth shocked you as much as it did him. "Don't you see?" Draco shook his head slowly. "The Imperius Curse can't be traced to who preformed the curse, and even if it could, or by any chance the Ministry got a hold of the wand that did it, it would be traced back to your mom. And I'm willing to bet you got yourself detention for that first week so you wouldn't be suspected." Draco nodded and sat up again. "By not doing anything, but having having Rosemarta doing it, it can't be traced back to you." You said sounding proud as Draco looked at you amazed. "Even the coin, they wouldn't know who has the other one."

"I didn't think you, of all people, would be saying something like that." Draco said slowly. "You sounds almost proud."

"Well," you leaned on his shoulder. "I am. You didn't kill anyone and you're smart enough to how to get away with it if you had." Draco looked at you with concern.

"Are you ok?" He asked. You nodded. "Are you how Besides? You're ok? Before all of this, before the mark ony arm, you would have yelled at me for trying to hurt people."

"It's not your fault, Draco. You were forced to do it." You said looking at his arm. "It's because of that mark you did what you did."

"Yeah, it is." Draco agreed with you. "But because I'm not the one who killed Dumbledore, he will probably still be angry."

"He got what he wanted. Dumbledore is dead." You said coldly. "Dose it really matter how?Besides, who all knows?" You asked.

"Me, Amycus, Alecto, Yaxley, Grayback, Snape, Dumbledore, although he is dead now and I guess Potter." He listed.

"Grayback?" You asked. "He didn't come out with the others. When did he arrive?"

"I don't know but I wasn't happy when I saw him. I didn't know he would come. He told Dumbledore he 'wouldn't want to miss a trip to Hogwarts where there are throats to rip out.'" Draco quoted G
Hi. "It made my stumic trun."

"So we just have to convince those people to not tell on you." You said,

"Yeah, ok. First chance they get, they'll tell." Draco sarcastically laughed.

"Probably. Graybackwould most definitely tell." You agreed with him. "Well, in any case, you know I will be there for you, what ever the outcome."
