A few weeks passed after your arguement with Draco, which resulted with you winning. The days slowly crept by and the subject about Grayback truning Draco into a werewolf had faded into a distant memory, that is, until you and Draco were enjoying the summer evening under the weeping williow tree one after noon.
The sun was setting and the sky was a light pink. The water was still and you could hear the insects singing all around you. You were sitting sideways on the swing with your feet flat on the bench while you leaned agenst Draco. You were almost asleep when Narcissa showed up.
"Draco," She said softly, almost like she didn't want to talk. "The Dark Lord is inside and would like you to come in."You sat up so Draco could stand. You fallowed after him as he reluctantly walked back to the manner. Once you walked into the drawing room, you saw the man who must have been Grayback. He was a tall, scruffy looking man.
"Come closer, Draco." Voldemort said, in a snake like voice. Draco did as he was told. You watched in horror. The only people in the drowning room, other then Voldemort and Grayback, were you, your parents, Narcissa, Draco and his Aunt Bellatrix.
"Because your father failed to get me the prophecy I asked for, he will be punished." Voldemort said, hissing. You weren't sure what he talking about, but it must have been the reason the Death Eaters were all at the Ministry of magic not to long ago.
"Don't try to run. It will be over in a moment." Grayback said with an evil grin, as he creepily strolled closer to Draco, who closed his eyes and embraced for the attack.
"Please, me Lord," Narcissa begged. "He's my only son." Voldemort looked over to her and grinned, as Grayback bared his teeth. Narcissa started begging again, crying in the process.
"Wait!" You yelled and ran between Grayback and Draco. Grayback stopped and looked down at you.
"Get out of the way, girl." He growled.
"No!" You stated sternly, then looked around him to see the man in control. "Before you allow Draco to become a wolf, I need you to understand something."
"(Y/n), don't anger him." Draco whispered in fear. Voldemort gave you a small smirk.
"Stand down, Grayback." He said, and waved you over to him, never taking his eyes off of you.
"But, my Lord?" Grayback whined. Voldemort ignored him as you walked up to the horrible man.
"First I have a question." You said, sounding like you weren't terrified. You felt scard, but right at this moment, you couldn't show it. Where you're bravery came from, you didn't have the slightest clue. "Your whole mission is to have only pureblood wizards, right?" You asked.
"Yessss." He hisses proudly.
"Well, there are not many pureblood wizarding families left, are there? The Malfoys are one of those families, are they not?" You looked back at Draco, who was watching you with a puzzled look.
"Yes, they are." Voldemort hissed in frustration. You returned your gaze back to Voldemort.
"If you trun him into a werewolf, you will loose another pureblood line."
Voldemort frowned in frustration. "Draco is the only hair to the Malfoy estate." You pointed out. "Do you really want to lose a whole family line because you turned its last line into a werewolf?" You asked. He looked at Draco and Grayback."I see your point." He said and looked back at you. "Alright, you win." He said annoyed. "I'll think of a different punishment. Let's go Grayback."
"My Lord?" Grayback said in a whinny tone. "You said I could..."
"And now, I've changed my mind." Voldemort interrupted him as they both vanished.
"How did you know that would work?" Narcissa asked. Everyone was looking at you with amazement. You walked over to Draco, saying nothing, and hugged him.
"You really saved me there (y/n)." Draco whispered softly and kissed you.
"I didn't think that would acutely work, but I had to do something. I had to point it out." You said smiling. "I got the idea, when your mother said you were her only son." You looked at Narcissa then back at Draco. "I figured, if he didn't change his mind, I would tell him I was going to have you turn me. So, he might as well have Grayback trun me first."
"(Y/n)?" Your mom said concerned. "Would you really do that?"
"Yes. I would." You said and looked at her and your father. "Because I love Draco, and I would do anything to stay by his side. My loyalty lies with Draco." You looked back at Draco and kissed him agian. "Now that, that's over, can we go back to the weeping willow?" You asked Draco. He smiled and noded. The two of you left the manner hand in hand, leaving the others behind.
Your mother's pov
"Did (y/n) really just say she would become a wolf?" Your mother asked the group.
"I believe so." Your father replied, shocked. Narcissa had walked to the window and was watching you and Draco head back to the tree.
"They're in love." Narcissa said.
"They are only teenagers." Your father said annoyed. "How can she say her 'loyalties' lie with him?"
"She loves him. She sees the sweet Draco, that no one else can." Narcissa said, truning back to face the others. "You two haven't seen them together. Sure, they fight like every couple does, and yes, they have broken up a few times, but in the end, it always ends up with the two of them back in each others arms. Draco loves her just as much as she loves him." Narcissa stated.
"Yes, but Narcissa." Your mother walked over to the window and looked out. You and Draco had already went behind the branches of the tree, so you couldn't be seen. "You may not know this," your mother sighed. "The girls in my family line have always gone for the Malfoy boys." She looked back at Narcissa. "Even I, at one time, like Lucius. My sister on the other was in love with him."
"I do know that." Narcissa sighed. "Your sister told me."
Your pov
You were sitting back on the bench swing with Draco. They sky had grown dark, and you could now see the stars as they twinkled above. The world was still and silent. You smiled at Draco then layed down on the ground.
"What are you doing?" Draco asked curiously.
"I can see the stars better if I lay on the ground." You said as if you were a child. Draco smiled and joined you. "Aren't they beautiful?" You ask, gazing at the night sky. "I think that's why I like the star room back at the school." You truned you head and saw Draco looking at you and not the sky. You looked back at the sky. "It really is a gorgeous view, isnt it?"
"Mine is." Draco said softly. You felt your face trun red. He hadn't made you blush in a while. You rolled your head again to see him. "I love you, my Hufflepuff Princess."
"I love you too, my Slytherin Prince." You said and kissed him.
