"I'm so glad we got the chance to spend the day together." Draco said walking back to the school holding your you hand. You smiled and rested your head on his shoulder.
"Me too." You smiled. "And I'm proud of you." Draco stopped walking and looked at you confused. "You saw Potter and his friends, right?" You asked looking back him. Draco nodded. "And you didn't even give them a scowling look." You stepped in front of him. "You saw them and didn't bother bugging them."
"Well, I was with you all day. If I had, you would've have just been up set with me." Draco said in a tone that said he would have done that if he wasn't around you. It was true though, he would have.
"But that didn't stop you before." You stated. Draco moved closer to you.
"That was before I fell for a beautiful Hufflepuff Princess." Draco said leaning in to kiss you.
"Oh really?" You whispered just before his lips locked with yours.
"Gross." You heard Perkinsons voice and you and Draco both pulled away looking at her.
"What's gross?" Draco asked her.
"The two of you." Perkinson said disgusted. You smiled and pulled Draco back into the kiss. Perkinson huffed and stormed off inside the castle.
"You just couldn't resist that, could you?" Draco whispered softly. You nodded slowly while grinning.
"I couldn't. She hates the fact that you and I are a thing, and I have to admit, I do like making her jealous." You told him letting him kiss you again.
"Maybe you are Slytherin material." He whispered pulling out of the kiss. That was the first real fight you and Draco had. Back in your first year on the boat ride to the school. He had told you, you wouldn't make a good Slytherin because you didn't have what it took.
"Yeah?" You asked. "What makes you say that?"
"It's just that you're cunning, and you like making Perkinson mad by being with me." Draco said taking your hand and walking into the school.
"I'm cunning, huh?" You said teasingly.
"Yes, and I love you for that." Draco said, moving his hand from yours and pulling you close by the waist.
Before you knew it, the school was ready for the second task. You and Draco had both gone to watch it. The champions had to swim in the lake and save someone that they cared about. You weren't paying attention that close to the conditions or the rules. Your thoughts was on how you would be able to see what was going on under that water.
"Draco?" You said taking his hand in yours. "I have a thought."
"What's that?" Draco asked looking into the water trying to see what was going on.
"The windows in the Slytherin common room, they look into the lake right?" Draco looked at you.
"Brilliant idea." Draco said, pulling you along. You smiled and went with him. Once in the room, you watched closely. It was a bit fuzzy, but you could see what was going on. Potter had webbed feet and hands along with gills on the side of his neck.
"He looks ridiculous." Draco said trying not to burst out laughing.
"He may look funny, Draco, but it's ingenuous." You said watching as Potter swam. Draco gave you a dirty look. "I just mean that with gills and webbed hands and feet he can swim under water easily." You said seeing Draco's reflection in the window.
"He must be using Gilly Weed." Draco mominated.
"Gilly Weed? You think so?" You asked as Draco nodded. "I'm not on his side, just so you know. But I do have to admit, Gilly Weed was a brilliant plan." You two watched the champions under the water. They were so little, but at least you could sort of see what was going on, it was better then what the rest of the school could see. Draco agreed and was excited when Potter wasn't the first one out of the water.
"We should go back up there." You said and the two of you headed back up.
You made your way back to the crowd by the lake just in time for Potter to climb out of the water with Ron Weasley and a little girl. You saw Weasley saying something to Potter, but you couldn't hear what was being said. You moved closer, leaving Draco behind you.
"Harry, you prat! You didn't take that song thing seriously, did you? Dumbledore wouldn't have let any of us drown!" Weasley lectured Potter.
"He might have," Draco said calmly. You truned around to face him. "Dumbledore is the worst to happen to this school."
"Only according to your father." You spat and truned back around to see Potter, Weasley and the girl moving to Madam Pompfhy, who was already fusing over Krum, Granger, Cedric and Cho Chang.
"Are you really going to get upset because I agree with my father?" Draco asked you in a teasing sort of way. You gave him a dirty look.
"You only agree with him because you don't know what it's like under someone else as the head master." You blunty told him. You grabbed Draco's hand and pulled him away from the crowd that was now surrounding the champions. "Do you really think that Dumbledore should be so stupid to let a student die? Don't be so daft."
"You're right, if he had let them drown, he would surely be fired." Draco said.
"Exactly, and he doesn't want that, does he?" You smiled at Draco. Was he really listening to your reasonings?
"No, he's not going to leave this school without a fight." Draco said, moving his face closer to you.
"I'm just glad Potter didn't hear you." You said trunning your head to look over at the crowd, who was blocking your veiw of Potter and the others. "If he had heard you, I'm sure a fight would have broke out." You felt a hand under your chin. Your head moved back and you now faced Draco again.
"I'm sure it would have too, but you stopped me." He said softly. "You were in my way, I couldn't get any closer.
"Is that a good thing?" You asked sweetly. He nodded, still holding your chin.
"Yeah, I wasn't about to push you out of the way." Draco said and the next thing you knew, he was kissing you in the open. He let your lips go and gassed into your eyes.
"What was that for?" You asked surprised.
"I felt like it." Draco replied.
"Do you realize you just kissed me in public?" You asked still surprised. He looked around the grounds and truned dark red. He hadn't remembered he was standing outside with the other students.
"It's ok. I don't think anyone is paying attention to us." You pointed out. "They're all focused on Potter and Krum. We're not famous enough for them." You said sarcastically. Draco appeared like he wasn't listening to you. He stared at the crowd. You kissed his cheek and he was still a red statue.
"Draco?" You said. When he didn't respond. You smiled. He was embarrassed. You pecked him on the lips and he woke up. "Hi."
"Hi" Draco blinked and looked at you.
"None of them noticed." You said as you wrapped your arms around his neck. "Besides, who cares?" You felt Draco's arms wrap around you. "I love you, Draco Malfoy." You whispered softly, while smiling.
"I love you too, (f/n) (n/n)." Draco said in a low voice. Your smile widened. People had seen the two of you at the ball but this was different. He had kissed you in front of others. Dancing is one thing, kissing was another.
