Things to know: I have decided to give Draco a few favorite things. These are not cannon to the story. (My friend, Meka Maxwell, came up with the favorite things.)
(N/n) jumped onto Draco's head from the tree branch he was sitting on.
"I think (n/n) missed you too." You said pulling out of the hug and looking at the niffler. You looked back at Draco.
"You should know, Kathy asked me to stay the summer with her and her family. I'm just waiting for an answer from my parents." You told him.
"So if they say yes, your going to go?" Draco asked. You nodded.
"I don't want to stay here." You said annoyed with the very thought.
"If they say no, then just come over to the manner." Draco offered. You layed you head back on his shoulder.
"I don't know why I let myself be drawn in by you." You said softly. "I know that when school starts back up, you're going to go back to the jerk, who treats people like skum."
"I don't mean to be that way you know." Draco said sounding irritated.
"I know." Your sat up and looked at Draco. "If you were really the cold person you act like, then you would be cold to me too."
"(Y/n)!" Your mom called you inside.
"That would be my mom calling me." You stood up and walked inside with Draco right behind you.
"Your father and I have decided that you can go." Your mom said.
"Thank you" you said hugging your mom then your dad.
Draco's pov
'She's really going then.' Draco thought to himself, as he watched you hug your parents and then run upstairs.
"Draco?" He heard your mom say to him, but he just stood there and looked at the steps that lead to your room. He blinked and looked at her when she waved her hand in front of his face.
"Are you ok?" Your mom asked.
"She's really going?" Draco asked back.
"Yeah, why?" You father piped in.
"Never mind." He truned to face your father. "Tell her I went home." Draco said then walked back out the door.
Your pov
You were so excited you ran upstairs to your room. Kathy's owl, Kelly, was still in your room. You grabbed a peice of paper and wrote 'YES' on it. You folded it and handed it to Kelly, who flew off. You went back downstairs to find that Draco was gone.
"Where did Draco go?" You asked.
"Home." Both your parents said at the same time.
"I'm going to go talk to him." You said and headed over to the Malfoy manner. Once you got there you could here Perkinson and Draco arguing.
"Why do you even care?!" Perkinson said. "You act like she never broke up with you sometimes!"
"I care because she's my friend!" Draco yelled back.
"I don't want you to see her anymore anyways!" Perkinson screamed.
"You can't tell me what to do!" Draco replied. You listened from behind the hedge wall that lined the yard. After a few minutes of screaming at each other, you walked around to the gate, and watched the fight from there.
"They're always fighting." Naricssa said from behind you. You jumped.
"Are they fighting over me?" You asked.
"This time. Last time, it had something to do with what they were going to do." She said.
"Draco wrote us last year to tell us you broke up with him." Narissa changed the subject.
"I did, because I couldn't stand him being a jerk to people anymore." You said plainly, staring at Draco as you spoke. "But I miss him." You added a few seconds later.
"You still like him don't you?" She asked you.
"I love him. I don't know why, but I do." You said turning to face Draco's mom. "I love him, and he's with her." You pointed to Perkinson. "Because I broke up with him, he went to her to make me jealous, and I didn't care." Your eyes let out a tear. "I told him I didn't care, but I did. I do."
"Then tell him how you feel." She said opening the gate to let you in. You stepped in.
"I can't just go over there." You said whipping your eyes.
"Go to the drawing room. I'll send him in there." Narcissa said. You nodded and headed inside. You sat down on the couch. It was nice to be back in the Malfoy manner. You missed it. It felt like this was your home. You didn't have to wait long before Draco walked in.
"(Y/n)?" Draco said. "I thought you were going to..." You had got up and ran into his arms. "What's wrong?" He asked pulling out of the hug you gave him.
"You disappeared on me, Draco. When I came back downstairs, you were gone." You said, looking into his eyes. "Then I heard you and Perkinson fighting, and I realized something." Draco had walked you over to the couch and sat down. You sat down beside him.
"Draco!" Perkinson said running into the drawing room. "I told you..." She spotted you sitting next to him. "To stay away from her!" The two of them started fighting again.
"What is his favorite color?" You asked her calmly. They both stopped arguing and looked at you puzzled.
"What is Draco's favorite color?" You asked again.
"What? Who cares." Perkinson said in a harsh, rude tone.
"What's his favorite animal or his favorite food?" You said. She looked at you like you had gone bonkers. "You don't know anything about him, do you?" Draco had stepped back as you walked up to Perkinson. "You think you can control him? Ha, good luck."
"I don't like you." She said as you truned to sit back down.
"I don't like you either, but I never told Draco he couldn't be friends with you." You said, sitting.
"What are you doing here anyways?" Perkinson asked coldly.
"To let my friend know I was going away for the rest of the summer." You said just as coldly. You stood up and walked to Draco. "I just wanted to say good bye." You hugged him then walked to the door. You stopped and truned back to Perkinson.
"Draco's favorite color is gray. His favorite food is a bloody streak with potatoes and his favorite animal is a cheetah." You exclaimed and walked out.
