You grabbed Draco's hand again and pulled him out if the room.

"Now that you know the truth, what are you thinking?" Draco asked as you let him go.

"I hate him more!" You said, walking up stairs.

"Were are you going?" Draco asked confused.

"To get my pets, then I'm going across the way to the other house." You replied. Draco stood there shocked.

"(Y/n)? Are you going to stay over there for the remainder of the holiday?" Draco asked when you came back down with the pygmie puff's carrier in one hand, a bag in the other and (n/n) on your shoulder.

"I am, wanna come?" You replied a lot calmer then you were when you went up. Draco smiled.

"Let me get some stuff and I will join you." He said and took off to his room. When he came back down, he asked, "Are we going to tell anyone?"

"We'll send Arrow back with a letter to your mom." You said. Arrow hooted in response.

It was lightly snowing and wasn't deep. The walk was peaceful and calming. Draco had taken the pygmie puffs from you, so you weren't carrying that much.

"What are we conna do for dinner?" Draco asked, looking back at the manner.

"I'm sure your mom will figure out how to sneak us some food." You replied and kept walking. It may have been peacefully snowing but it was still freezing.

You got to the house and entered. As you thought, the house was cold, the lights came on though.

"It's freezing in here." Draco stated the obvious. "Where's the fire place?"

"Fire place?" You laughed. "This is a muggle house, Draco. It's heated with the furnace." You explained as you turned up the thermostat. "In the desk drawer, behind you, is paper and pens." You told him and let the pygmie puffs out of the cadge.

"Pen?" Draco asked confused.

"Yeah, it's like a quill that doesn't need to be diped in ink." You replied casually. Draco opened the drawer and pulled the paper and a pen out. After scribbling some words down, he read them out loud to you.

"Hey mom, (y/n) and I are next door. We will be here for the time being. Your son, Draco." He looked up to get your response.

"Sounds good to me, but if you want food, you should let her now we don't have any of that." You suggested.

"P....s.... can... you... please.... send .... food... back... with... Arrow?" You said as he wrote. He rolled up the note and handed it to Arrow, then opened the window for him to fly out. You and Draco settled in and just as the house started to worm up, Arrow returned with a bag.

"That would be our dinner." You said and let Arrow back in. After eating you and Draco curled up on the couch together and watched some T.V.

"You seem to like it here." You said after a bit.

"I think I do." Draco admitted. "Electricity is nice." He looked down at you. You were using his lap and a pillow. "But don't tell anyone. My family would flip."

"Don't worrie, I won't tell them we were using muggle things." You yawned. It wasn't long after that, that you felt yourself drift off to sleep. You woke a while later to Draco lightly snoring. You sat up, grabbed the remote and turned off the T.V.

"Draco," you whispered and shook his shoulder. He just moved his head. You woke him up by standing up.

"Where are you going?" He asked, rubbing his eyes. You smiled.

"I'm going to bed." You replied sweetly.

"Ok," Draco yawned and laid down on the couch. You rolled you eyes and headed to bed.

The next morning, you woke to Draco sitting in bed with you, reading one of your books. He seemed very interested in the book too.

"What are you reading?" You asked. Draco jumped when you spoke. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you." Tou said, sitting up.

"It's alright." Draco said, looking back at the book. "I didn't realize you had woken up."

"What are you reading?" You asked again. Draco looked at the cover of the book.

"Number the stars." Draco read the title. "Is this story was based on real life events." Draco asked, looking back at you. You nodded and climbed out of bed. "Mom brought over some food. It should last us a few days. She said she would bring more over later if she could sneak it over." Draco told you as you reached the door to the room.

"Oh good." You replied and headed down to see what she brought over. You found that Draco had put eggs, bacon, bread, meat, and some veggies in the fridge. You pulled out two eggs and four straps of bacon.

"Draco?!" You called up stairs. "Do you want some breakfast?!"

"Sure!" Draco called back. You fried up the eggs and bacon, then called Draco down for breakfast.

"I didn't get a chance to get you anything for Christmas." Draco said during the middle of eating his eggs. "So, I thought we could go into Diagon Alley today."

"Yeah, we can do that if you want," you said then smiled. "But I don't really need a Christmas gift."

"You didn't get me anything yet either, did you?" Draco asked playfuly.

"No," You answered casually. "I got you something. It's upstairs." Draco looked at the stairs.

"What did you get me?" He asked, still looking at the stairs as if the steps would reveal what it was.

"A sugar quill." You said, speaking in a completely serious tone. Draco looked back at and rolled his eyes. You weren't lying though. You did get him that, but only because he asked every year and this way you could tell him and not being lying.

After breakfast was done you washed up the dishes and headed out to catch the bus. You had taken the public transportation before to Diagon Alley, so Draco didn't seem to be so against it this time. You arrived some time later and used the entrance that you used the first time you came to Diagon Alley.
