"Please, Draco, drop it." You pleaded with him. You left the shop still trying to get Draco to understand that you didn't want to fight with him. You just wanted to spend the rest of the day with the boy that you see in the summer time, not the one who goes out of his way to torture other, or promote torture.
"Just tell me what's on your mind." Draco said, following you. "If you want to yell at me, yell at me." You stopped walking away and truned back to face him. You took a slow deep breath, rolled your eyes, then truned around again and walked away. You did want to yell at him. You wanted to tell him exactly what was on your mind; he was in the wrong for telling Parkinson that it was ok to pick on people, as long as they were not from Slytherin. You didn't go off on him; however, in fear of him getting mad at you and ignoring you again. He had promised not to do that, but Draco wasn't good at keeping his promises.
"Draco!" You yelled finally, flipping around when he wouldn't stop pestering you. "Leve it alone!" He stopped talking, but gave you a stunned expression. "I don't want to argue over what's going on in my head." You said calmly. "If you're going to walk around with me, then I beg you to change the subject." You took both his hands in yours. "Please, don't make me regret finding you after meeting up with Sam." Draco pulled you into a hug, which surprised you. You were not expecting that.
"I know you want to yell at me." Draco said softly, in your ear. "I want you to be yourself." He pulled out of the hug and looked at you, still holding onto to you. "But, you're scard to get angry with me." You looked down. "I promised you, I wouldn't ignore you."
"That doesn't change the fact, that I'm scared you're going to do it anyways." You told him, trying to hold back tears. "Can we please, change the subject?"
"No." Draco said. That was the first time he had ever told you no. You looked back at him. "I need you to understand. I need you to believe me, when I tell you I won't do that again." He pulled you into another tight hug. "I want you to yell at me when you're angry with me. I want you to not be afraid to be yourself. I love you the way you are." He let you go. "I fell in love with you because you weren't afraid to go off on me. I was a complete moron to ignore you last year." You didn't know what to say. "So go ahead, yell at me. Tell me I'm in the wrong."
"I... I can't." You said chocking back your tears. "I'm going back to school." You stepped back and started walking away. Why didn't Draco understand? You just wanted him to leave the subject alone. You felt yourself being pulled back and before you could comprehend what was happening Draco had you in his arms again.
"I love you, (Y/n)." Draco whispered. "We can change the subject. Please don't leave." You relaxed and layed your head on his shoulder.
"Let's go get some sweets from Honey Dukes." Draco whispered after a few moments of silence.
"Ok," You smiled at him. "I think you should get me some Fizzy Wizbees."
"Alright," Draco said smiling back. He took your hand and walked beside you.
The rest of the day was much better. You got some sweets then headed to the Three Broomsticks for some Butterbeer. From there, you went to the joke shop and a few other places before heading back to Hogwarts. The day eneded and you were back in your dorm room. You told Sam about the fight you had with Draco and how it ended with him getting you some Fizzy Wizzbees.
"Malfoy really does care about you, dosent he?" She laughed. "He wants you to yell at him?" You nodded.
"But if he were to ignore me like he did last year, I wouldn't be able to handle the pain again." You admitted to her.
"If he ignores you, you come tell me. I'll go off on him." Sam said.
"He wouldn't care if you did or not." You smiled at her.
"Then I wouldn't stop until he said something to you." Sam told you, in a persistent tone. You went to bed that night thinking how great of a friend Sam was.
The next morning you woke to find a new educational decree on the common room bulletin board stating that all organization, societies, teams, groups, and clubs were disbanded. If you wanted your activities to continue, you would have to go speak with Umbridge. Any student in an activity not approved by her, would be expelled.
'I wonder if Draco's seen this?' You thought to yourself as Sam walked up beside you. She read the notice then ran off. She was part of a few clubs. You guessed she was going to see about them. You walked down to the Great Hall and saw Draco at the Slytherin table. Sitting down next to him, you asked if he saw the new educational decree."Yeah, I saw it." He said, sounding a little annoyed. He was the Seeker on the Slytherin's Quidditch team after all.
"So are you..." you started asking if he was going to ask for the team to stay when you noticed the crumbled paper in his hand.
"What's up? You seem a bit bothered." You asked him, as Perkinson sat across from you and gave you a scowling look.
"It's nothing. Don't worry about it." He replied coldly. You gave him a confused look.
"Draco?" Your look of confusion changes to concern. When he didn't respond. You took his hand and pulled him away from everyone. "What's going on?"
"My father sent me a letter this morning. He wants you and I...to split ways." he admitted.
"What? Why?" You asked him. Draco shook his head, but didn't say a word. "Well, I refuse to split until he gives me a reason." You pulled Draco into a hug. "It's not right." Draco pulled from the hug and took your hand. The two of you walked down to the star room so you could talk.
"Father says that we have to break up because the Dark Lord has plans for us." Draco told you and started the fire. You sat down. "I don't know what the plans are, but I'm not going to like it if I can't be with you." He sat down beside you. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. He was planning something that involved you and Draco? How dare him!
"So, what are you going to do?" You asked right before Draco kissed you. He locked his lips with yours for a few seconds before letting you go.
"I can't leave you." He said softly.
"But if you don't, he will be firrus with us."
"So, we don't tell him. We act like normal friends." Draco said.
"I want to speak with him!" You said angrily. "I want to know what plan he has were I can't be with you." You layed your head on Draco's shoulder. "He's not going to keep me away from you."
