After Umbridge's class was over, the day went by quickly. You had Care of Magical Creatures in the afternoon. You made your way down to Hagrid's hut. He still wasn't there and you wondered what was going on. It was raining lightly and Professor Grumblyplank was standing at a table with many twigs on it. You were standing outside with the other students, when you heard laughing. You looked over to see Draco with Crabbe, Goyle and Perkinson. They joined the class and kept looking over at Potter and snickering. You guessed what they were saying. Potter had been made into a laughing stock because of The Daily Prophet releaseing stories about him being a nut job. You shot Draco a look, and his smile vanished for a moment.

"Who can tell me what these things are called?" Grumblyplank asked, waving her hand over the sticks. Granger's hand shot into the air. You noticed Draco mimicking her with a buck toothed smile. You walked over to him. You were going to pull him away, when Parkinson's laughter turned into a scream. The sticks came to life, which must have been why she screamed. As Grumblyplank spoke, you pushed your way to stand next to Draco. Perkinson glared at you.

"Act like a prefect." You whispered to Draco and took his hand.

"...take a few wood lice and a bowtruckle, I have enough, one between three, you can study them more closely." Grumblyplank told the class. "I want a scetch form each of you with all body parts labeled by the end of the lesson." You let go of Draco's hand so he would go pick a bowtruckle. You grabbed some wood lice.

"Maybe the stupid great olf got himself badly injured." You heard Draco say to Potter. He must have been talking about Hagrid. "Maybe, he's been messing with stuff that's too big for him, if you get my drift." He truned away from Potter and saw you glaring at him.

'You're a prefect, Draco!' You thought, but didn't say anything. You just shook your head. You walked away and joined a group that didn't have Draco in it.

"Yes, father was just talking to the minister just a couple of days ago, you know, and it sounds like the ministry is really determined to crack down on substantied teaching in this place. So even if that over grown moron does show up again, he'll probably be sent packing straight away." Draco said. Crabbe and Goyle laughed. You glared at the three boys, and decided that it would be best to just ignore them. Draco was still the school bully and that wasn't going to change just because you wanted it to.

Once the day was over, you found yourself in the star room again. You were laying on the couch thinking about last year; how Draco wouldn't talk to you because you told him he was being a jerk. The door opend and Draco came in. He didn't seem to notice you there. He was annoyed and was ranting and raving about something. You sat up and watched him storm around the room.

"Hey," you said stealing his attention. Draco looked at you shocked. "While you're here, can you start the fire for me please?" You asked gesturing to the fireplace. Draco pulled his wand out and started the fire. "Thanks," you said, laying back down. "You can go back to raving if you'd like."

"I didn't realize you were in here." Draco said, putting his wand away. You sat back up.

"What's got you all flustered anyways?" Draco sat down next to you as you spoke.

"Perkinson," he said her name in frustration and his eyes met yours. "I told her that we should act more like a prefect should. You know, what you told me." Did you just hear him right?

"What did she say?" You asked slipping your hand into his.

"She yelled at me, telling me I was acting like a git. I said that she was the git. I told her, 'We can't go around acting like the other students, we have to behave.' And she got mad at me and said that you had gotten into my head." You looked a little confused. "You're always telling me to 'be nice' and when I suggested that, as a prefect, we set a good example Perkinson flipped out."
