You opend the door to the abandoned room. It was decorated with Garland and floating candles. A small, undecorated, Christmas tree sat in the corner of the back wall. You walked over to the tree and looked around the room.
"What happend?" You said happily. Just then the door opend and Draco walked in carring a box.
"Oh, your back." He said putting the box on the floor next to the tree.
"What are you doing?" You said, loving the room.
"I wanted to surprise you. It was so boring in here. The rest of the castle was in the Christmas spirit, I thought..." he stoped when you huged him.
"It's perfect." You whispered in his ear. "I love it." Draco blushed, as you pulled away.
"All that's left is to decorate the tree." He said pulling his wand out. He pointed it at the box, but before he could cast a spell, you put a hand on the wand.
"Let's do it together." You said smiling. He looked at you confused. You picked up an ornament and hung it on the tree branch. "Like this, it's how muggles do it." Draco looked perplexed. "It's way more fun. Try it." Draco picked up another ornament and hung it. He smiled. "The star goes on last." You told him picking up another. The two of you spent the evening decorating the tree. When it was done, you sat down. Draco sat next to you.
"It's such a beautiful sight." You said, watching the shadows of the fire flickering on the tree.
"Mine is." You heard Draco say. You faced him to see him looking at you. You truned a deep red, and without meaning to, you looked down. He smiled at you.
"Christmas is tomorrow." Draco said softly. "And I think we should celebrate it together." You nodded, still looking down with bright red cheeks. You had sent gifts home with your other friends and sent a school owl home to deliver gifts to your parents. Draco pulled you close to him into a hug.
"I have to get back to my common room." He whispered sweetly. "I'll meet you here in the morning, ok?" You nodded again looking into his eyes. He stood up and walked out the door leaving you sitting there. You sat there for a few more minutes before heading to your dorm too.
The next morning you headed to the the abandoned room in the dungeons with a wrapped gift. The snow made it unusely cold in the castle. When you got to the room and opened the door, you saw Draco sleeping on the couch. 'He must have come early this morning.' You thought placing his gift under the tree. The fire had already been started. You sat on the floor next to the couch by Draco's head. As you watched the flames dance you felt you hair move. Again, your heart skipped. You truned to look at Draco.
"Good morning." He said smiling.
"Good morning." You answered as he set up. You moved to the couch.
"When did you get here?" You asked him feeling a but sleepy still.
"A few hours ago," he said with a yawn. He pulled out a red box from his sleave and handed it to you. "It's not another necklace."
"It's not?" You opened the box slowly. Inside, was a tiny black cauldron and a few tiny viles. You smiled.
"I know you've been struggling a lot with potions, so I ordered this to help you. It's so you can practice anywhere you'd like to." Draco told you. "I know it's not..." you hugged him again.
"Thanks." You pulled back. "I know how to get you to stop talking." You said jokingly. "All I have to do is hug you. You stop talking every time." You continued as you picked up the gift you got him.
"I asked Kathy if she would pick this up for me. I couldn't tell her why; although, I think she knows." Draco looked confused. "You see, we can't go to hogsmeade yet. So, I asked her to pick it up for me." You handed him the wrapped gift. "It's not much, but I hope you like it." You got him a broom care kit. He smiled, when he opened it.
"It's perfect." Draco put in down on the floor and pulled you into him again. You liked it when did this. You spent the day together.
"We should go up the the feast." You said not wanting to leave Draco's side.
"Yeah, we should." The two of you got up and head up to the festivities. While you ate you could hear Draco makeing fun of the sweeter Potter and the Weasleys were wearing. You got made at him for it but let it go. You would yell at him later, and after dinner, that's just what you did.
Later, you and Draco ended up outside. The snow was falling again. You picked up a snowball and threw it playfully at Draco.
"Hay!" He yelled, shocked. "That...was...cold!"
"Good," you said smiling devilishly. "Here's another one." You threw a second ball. Draco dodged it and threw a ball back. The snow ball fight had started. Draco pulled his wand out and build himself a snow wall.
"That's cheating!" You yelled and did the same. Before you knew it, the sky grew darker. It was getting late. You both, coverd in melted snow, went inside to worm up. You went to your dorm room.
"That was so fun." You said jumping into a worm shower. After you were all wormed up, you wrote a letter to Sam, telling her about the snowball fight. You didn't want to tell her about the room you and Draco had turned into a Christmas world. You headed up to the owlery. When you spotted Potter and Weasley shoving Grabbe and Goyle into a broom closet. It looked like they were ready for the polyjuice potion. You kept walking and rejoined the students left in the Great Hall.
