"Draco?" You said. "That was a bit harsh." Draco looked at you. "You didn't have to throw her out."

"I panicked." He said putting his wand away. You watched as Draco preceded to open the cabinet door again, letting a bird fly out. "It definitely worked." He said and shut the door again. A few minutes later, someone stepped out of the cabinet.

"Good job, Draco." The man said excitedly. More Death Eaters joined, one by one. About an 30 minute later, Draco pulled out a coin from his pocket.

"What's that?" You asked him.

"An enchanted coin. It works like the one you had for the D.A. last year." Draco admitted.

"Who has the other coin?" You asked him with suspicion.

He ignored you, looking down at the coin. "Dumbledore is in Hogsmead getting a drink." He said to the crowd that had formed in the Room of Requirement. Now's the time to attack."

"We should set the Dark Mark off from the tallest tower." One of the Death Eaters said. They were all wearing the dark clocks and masks, you couldn't tell who was who.

"That's the Astronomy tower." Another said.

"Here, Draco. The Hand of Glory." A stumpy Death said, handing a shriveled up hand to Draco. "It will show light only to the holder."

"Good, you brought it." Draco said, taking it. "What about the Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder?" The man handed him a small bag.

"Draco?" You said, not sure what else he had hid for you. "Was it you who gave Katie the necklace?" You asked him.

"Not now, (y/n)." He said annoyed. "I will tell you everything when this is over." He said in a calmer tone then he started with.

"Fine." You replied a little upset. "Now that they are here," you nodded at the group behind him. "I have to protect my friends."

"I know. I didn't think you would stick around." Draco spoke the truth and you felt like you were turning your back on him. "(Y/n), I wouldn't expect you to join me in this. In fact, I don't want you to see this."

"Draco I..."

"It's OK (y/n)." Draco cut you off. "Just know that I love you and I will be fine." Before you could reply, him and the Death Eaters started to leave. Draco walked out and threw the power. Everything went as dark as could be. Voices could be heard casting the Lumos and Inciendo spells. After several minutes passed, the darkness cleared and you could see the stuff that surrounded you. You still stood in the center and the Room of Requirement. You left the room to see that the corridor was empty and you ran to the Hufflepuff dorm. Most of the school was still fast asleep. Sam was no different. You sat down on your bed. Hopefully she would sleep through the whole event. Hopefully the whole school would sleep through it. But of course, they wouldn't. Sam woke a few minutes later to the sound of people fighting.

"What's going on?" She asked, seeing you.

"Death Eaters are in the school." You told her. She jumped out of bed, grabbed her wand and ran off. "SAM!" You called and chased after her. "COME BACK!" When you caught up to her, she was locked in battle with one of the Death Eaters.

"AVADA K..." The Death Eater started.

"EXPELLIARMUS!" You yelled and disarmed him. "You will not hurt them." You said, walking up to the man. "Now go." He did as he was told. "Sam, please. Let's go back to the dorm."

"You coward." She spat. "There are DEATH EATERS in the school." She reminded you. "We have to stop them."

"We can't." You said sadly. If we stop them, then...." you trailed off.

"The school will be saved." She finished your sentence.

"No. Well, yeah it will be, but that's not the issue." You said, as you pulled her into an empty classroom so you could talk without the fear of getting hit by a stray spell. "If we stop them, Draco dies."

"You would put the life of your boyfriend over everyone else?!" She said shocked. "I can't believe you."

"It's not that. It's just that...."

"Just what?!" She asked and waited for you to finish. "You are a coward." Sam continued when you didn't speak. "Are you one of them?"

"What? No." You said, showing her both your bare arms.

"Is he, is Malfoy one?" Sam asked coldly.

"Yes," you said softly. "But he was forced!" You said defending Draco. "Draco was told that if he didn't join them, didn't do what he was told, that he and his family would be killed. Draco didn't see any other way."

"So he would fallow a maniac!" Sam shouted.

"You would too!" You yelled back at her. "You would do anything to save your family! I would too!" Sam stood there, frozen to the spot. After a minute or so she spoke again.

"So what was Malfoy told to do?" She asked calmly.

"I didn't find out until Christmas break." You said.

"What was he told to do?" Sam asked again.

"I can't tell you." You said in almost a whisper. Sam starred at you. "I can't. If I tell, I'm pretty sure Draco will be in danger." Sam sighed. "Look, you can be mad at me, even hate me. I understand why. But please, don't get killed trying to stop him." You bagged her.

"Fine, I won't. But I'm also not going to let others get killed too. I'm going back out to fight back." She said and walked out of the room, wand ready. You nodded and fallowed her.

"It's over, time to go!" The voice of Professor Snape rang over the noice sometime after midnight. You looked up to see Potter give Chase after Snape and Draco. The Death Eaters you were fighting with, stopped and fallowed after them. You ran outside with Sam and a few other students. Hagrid's hut was set on fire and then all was calm again. Potter and Hagrid was putting the hut out.

"McGonagall wants everyone who fought to go to the hospital wing." Sabastien said behind you. You were so focused on protecting the younger students, you didn't realize that Sabastien had joined the fight too. You and Sam nodded and headed that way.
