You made your way down stairs and found Lucius reading the paper at the breakfast table. The head line read: SCENES OF TERROR AT THE QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP! A photo of the dark mark accompanied it. You sat down, but didn't say anything. You served yourself some potatoes and eggs.
"Good morning," Lucius said finally noticing you after a few minutes.
"Morning," you replied. "What's the paper saying?"
"It's talking about the events last night at the world cup. I'm going to have to go into the office to clear a few things up." He said still reading. You looked at him confused. "One of the ministry workers said nobody was hurt, but we know that's not true." He looked over his paper at you. "Is Draco still sleeping?"
"Yeah, I tryed to wake him up, but he was out." You said.
"Tell Narcissa when she gets up I had to go into the office." Lucius said and stood up. You nodded, understansing his request, then he disappeared. You finished eating and decided to send Arrow to Kathy's parents with a letter asking how things where. You walked back up to Draco's room, where Arrow lived. Draco was still sound asleep. You sat down at his desk.
'Dear mr. and mrs. Roiser, I hope things are calming down. I'm so sorry about Kathy. She was a good friend and I already miss her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Sincerely, (y/n)'
You handed the letter to Arrow and he flew off out the window. You watched him fly over the harizon when you heard Draco sit up.
"Good morning, Draco." You said walking over to him.
"Good morning," Draco said looking at the window. "Where did you send Arrow?" You sat down next to him and told him about the letter then about his father going to the office.
"How are you holding up?" Draco asked you pulling you into him.
"I don't think it's fully hit me yet. Things will be different when I get to the common room and Kathy's not there." You said resting your head on Draco's chest. "How about you?"
"I'm ok, I think I spend most of the night crying." Draco sounded tired still. You pulled your feet up onto the bed. Draco moved so his back was against the head board. You did the same exact your back was on his chest.
"All your stuff is still at my aunt's house." Draco said tangling his fingers with yours.
"Yeah, I'm sure she'll send it to me or the school. I just hope (n/n) is doing all right." You replied. You felt safe in Draco's arms and you started drifting back to sleep.
Draco's pov
After a few minutes, you were out. Draco layed you down and got up. He made his was down to eat and ran into his mother.
"Oh, morning mom." Draco said sitting down next to her.
"Do you know where your father is?" Narcissa asked her son. Draco told her what you told him about Lucius going to work.
"I thought he might have." She said. "So you and (y/n) are back together, I'm glad. I didn't care much for Pansy Perkinson." Draco was shocked that his mom didn't approve of Perkinson. He thought for sure that she would have liked her more the she did you.
"So has (y/n) told you she loved you yet?" Narcissa asked him. Draco truned a dark red.
"He wont let me." You said, walking into the room.
Your pov
"Why not?" Narcissa questioned her son.
"It doesn't matter, he's just not ready to hear it. Right?" You answered for Draco. You sat down next to him. Draco nodded. "But he's not allowed to say it to me, that is, until he's ready to hear it from me."
"I see." Narcissa said. She looked amused. After Draco was done eating breakfast, you and him found your way to the willow tree.
"I missed sitting here with you." You said sitting down on the swing. Draco agreed and sat with you.
"Last summer, we spent a lot of time here." Draco said slipping his hand into yours. You leaned into him. It was nice to be around him again.
"Draco, I need to get my new school supplies soon. We didn't make it to Diagon Alley." You said realizing this.
"So let's go, I've already got my stuff. So we can make it our official first date." You looked up at him.
"We've gone out before this." You said. "Remember last summer, how you and I went to Diagon Alley by floo powder."
"But we weren't dating back at that time." Draco said kissing you. You smiled while his lips locked with yours. "This time will be our official first date." He said pulling back.
"Ok," you got up. "But I'm not going by floo powder."
"Then how do you plan on getting there?" Draco asked curiously.
"The muggle-born way." You said and watched Draco's expression change to one of disgust. "Oh come on. It's not all that bad." You said, grabbing his hand and pulling him up from the swing.
"How do we get there?" Draco was obviously not to keen on the idea.
"The bus." You answered, pulling him along. You managed to get him to the bus stop on the other side of your house and onto the muggle bus.
"Muggles travel in strange ways." Draco said on the second bus transfer.
"It takes a little time to get some where but this is how muggles get from point A to point B when they can't drive." The people around you kept looking at you like you were both nuts. Draco kept looking at them like they were some kind of disgusting looking bug.
"Draco, be nice." You whispered.
"They're looking at us." Draco whispered back.
"Ignore them." You told him. "They are just wondering what muggles are." You put your hand in his and leaned on him. You finally made it to your destination, and you and Draco got off the bus. You were droped off in the open lot that you first met McGonagall. You pulled out your wand and tapped the wall like she did that day and it opend up.
"I had no idea this was here." Draco said amazed. You pulled him threw the opening and the wall closed up.
"Welcome to the muggle-borns entrance." You told him smiling. Draco seemed to be ok again, now that he was back in his world.
