"Legilimency?" You asked, confused. "What is that?"
"Basically, I can read your thoughts." Voldemort explained. "I usely have to have eye contact, but your thoughts are strong."
"Oh...kay..." you said slowly. You still didn't fully understood but it was obviously true. He did say that he could give you the answers you were searching for, before asking him if he could. You staired at him for a moment before asking your next question.
"Why did you made Draco and I split up?" You asked this question in a more demanding tone than you ment to.
"You are stronger then you know. Your emotion are tied to your powers." The Dark Lord said calmly.
"What are my Powers?" You asked.
"I can't tell you that." He admitted. "Only Lucius Malfoy, can give you that answer."
"Well, at least now, I know that what my parents are hiding from me has something to do with my powers... what ever they are." You mumbled to yourself.
"Is that why I need a protector?" You asked him, realizing that that must be the reason.
"Yes." Voldemort said. "I assigned Draco to watch over you and keep you safe so that your powers do not go out of control like they did last night."
"Last night?" You were confused now. You lost control of your powers? When? How?
"You were attacked last night, were you not?" He asked you. You nodded. "Who do you think sent your attacker flying?" You didn't actually know. You assumed it was one of the Malfoys that saved you. "You saved yourself."
"But how?" You asked.
"That's what I can't tell you." Voldemort hissed, annoyed.
"Ok, so you're not able to answer that one, but what about why my parents had to act as if they were muggles? Why did you take their wands and force them to hide?" You demanded.
"To keep you away from the Ministry eyes. You live so close to the Malfoy manner to keep you safe as well. Lucius was charged to keep your parents on their task." He answered before you had the chance to ask why you lived close to Draco.
"What was their...?" You started asking but was cut off.
"Their task was to hunt down the Blood-traders now living amongst the Muggles." He answered with a dark voice. It was as if he enjoyed the thought of murder.
"And did they?" You asked, not really wanting to know.
"For the most part, and before you ask, no, that is not the task they are on now." The Dark Lord said.
"What are they doing, and are they still being forced to act as muggles?" You asked.
"Yes, they are still undercover. They are searching for my lost Death Eaters, that haven't returned to me." Voldemort answered before Lucius stepped back into the hall way.
"My Lord, the time grows late." Lucius said.
"Oh yes, I should be going." He replied to Lucius and vanished with a loud crack. You looked at Lucius.
"I still had more question for him!" You said angrily, and stormed off to your room. If your emotions were linked to your powers, and that is why you were forced to leave Draco's side, then why tourcher you by assigning him to protect you? Why did you have to be hidden from the ministry? And, how come you can't know what your powers are? With these qustions still not answered, the rest of the day went by slowly. You layed on your bed, staring at the ceiling.
"(Y/n)?" You heard Draco's voice from the other side of the door way. You rolled your head to see him standing at the open door. "You've been hiding all day. Are you alright?"
"Could you come in and shut the door behind you?" You asked him, sitting up. He did as you asked and joined you on the edge of your bed. You told him what you learned that morning.
"So then, why make me be the one to protect you?" Draco asked.
"That's what I want to know." You said, falling back onto the bed. Draco layed down beside you.
"At any case, sounds like you should learn Occlumency." Draco said. You looked at him. "It's a way to block out people from invading your mind." Draco explained seeing your puzzled look. He sat up. "I can teach you. I'm pritty good at it." You sat up too.
"You are?" You asked him shocked.
"Yeah, I learned it along time ago. My father is skilled at Legilimency, and so I taught myself Occlumency years ago, to keep him out of my head." Draco said, sounding proud of himself.
"It would be a good excuse to spend more time with you." You admitted, smiling.
"Good, then we will start when we get back to school. We can practice in the star room." Draco sounded excited. You were talking to Draco when the crystal ball lit up. You answered it and before you could start talking, sam was telling you all about her Christmas. She got a bunch of gifts and Sebastian got her a necklace. After about an hour of Sam rambling on, you got the chance to tell her about Dameon attacking you.
"I'll fill you in more once we get back to Hogwarts." You told her. It was late and you just wanted to go to sleep. The day had been long, after all. You said good night to Sam and hung up. Draco had gone to his room to change into his pajamas. You changed too and headed over to Draco's room. Draco didn't want to leave you alone as long as Dameon was still at the manner. You didn't mind though. You may not have been officially back with Draco, but this was good enough for now. You crowled into his bed and was soon fast asleep.
You found yourself in a dark room. It appeared to be the same dark room from the dream you had a few years ago. The one were you found Draco laying on the ground.
"I must be dreaming again." You said to yourself. You looked around for the wand that you had last time, and after a minute or so, you found it. You lit it up and went looking for the unconscious Draco from the last dream. You called out his name over and over. You didn't know why though, if he was still unconscious, he wasn't going to be able to answer you. You walked for what seemed like hours. Instead of spotting Draco, you found a window. You walked up to it and looked through it. The world outside was sunny and worm. You looked around for a way to open it.
"(Y/n)?" Draco's voice said. You looked behind you, expecting to see him; he wasn't there. "What are you doing?" You heard him ask. Where was he? You looked around you, but didn't see him.
"Draco?" You called out. "Where are you?"
"I'm right here." He said and a door opend beside the window. You looked over, but he wasn't there either. You walked outside into the sun shine.
"Draco?" You called out again.
"I'm not Draco." The same voice said.
"You sound like him." You said back.
"I only sound like him because you want me to sound like him, just as you want to see him." Draco stepped out from behind a tree.
"If you're not Draco, who are you?" You asked, no believing him.
"I'm you, or rather, the you that was taken from you."
